Chapter Four.

By the end of the month, Lucy had already grown a lot to where he stomach was noticeable. Along with that, Natsu had written to Erza, Gray, and Mira, saying how Lucy was back, and they'd explain everything at their next meetup, whenever that would be.

"Mommy! How is she doing?" Asks Luke running into the room, right after his afternoon studies.

Lucy laughs. "Lukey, I don't want you to get your hopes up about the baby being a girl. It could be a boy too." Says Lucy. "Yeah mommy, but it's dragon instincts!" Says Luke smiling just like his father.

"Where's your dad?" Asks Lucy. He should've been home by now. Actually, he should've came home with Luke.

"Oh, daddy said he was going to visit Uncle Zeref before coming home. He said it'd be five minutes!" Lucy immediately tenses at the name Zeref but quickly shakes it off.

"H-help me set the table." Says Lucy, trying to cover up her stutters. Luckily, Luke doesn't notice and gets to setting the table. "You can tell me about your studies while you help me." Adds Lucy distracting herself with her son.

As soon as Lucy started to put together plates is when Natsu came in.

"Right on time. We're about to eat dinner." Says Lucy with a warm smile.

"Yeah! I can tell you about my studies and how Uncle Zeref helped me train today!" Cheers Luke.

That name again. Says Lucy shivering a bit.

"Speaking of Zeref, I told him about how you were back Luce, and how your pregnant. He wants to have breakfast with us tomorrow."

Lucy stills for a moment. Zeref invited her to breakfast.

"He's also excited to hear about our daughter and can't wait to meet her."

"I can't wait to meet her too!" Says Luke with a mouthful of food. "Chew all your food before talking." Scolds Lucy, wiping his mouth that had food all over.

"You eat just like your father," says Lucy with an eye roll. "Hey!" Says Natsu offendedly.

"Poor baby, you'll be okay." Says Lucy filling up her plate with more food.

"Mommy you must be extra hungry today!" Says Luke. Lucy replaces her annoyed face with a happy one as she looks over at her son.

"That's because I'm eating for your little brother or sister too." Says Lucy ruffling his hair.

"I feel like it's a girl." Says Luke. "If it's a girl, I'll protect her like how daddy protects you. I'll also make sure she doesn't get hurt, and stay away from boys." Lucy smiles warmly at her sons words.

"Well it could be a boy too," Says Lucy. "I don't care. If it's a boy I'll protect him too! And then we can wrestle and play how daddy does with Uncle Gray and Gajeel! I can even have him go against Storm!"

"That's my boy!" Says Natsu giving his son a high five.

"Don't encourage him Natsu."

The morning of their breakfast with Zeref, Lucy found herself waking up extra early to get ready. It wasn't like how they lived here where they'd sleep in till ten and then cook. Breakfast started at exactly 7 am, and Lucy couldn't help but want to feel presentable to her brother-in-law.

"Lukey it's time to get dressed." Says Lucy, shaking her son gently to get him up.

"Five more minutes..." he asks, sounding exactly like her husband.

"No Luke, we're having breakfast with Uncle Zeref remember?"

Luke shoots up at that and it almost pains her. He loved his uncle, and this uncle tried to kill her. How would he deal with this if he ever found out?
