|Arc 2| Chapter Five *18*

"What the hell Storm? Why's the door locked? And how come I can't come out?" Nashi asks, her arms crossed.

"I-I just wanted to hang out Y'know." Storm Says, But Nashi can hear the nervousness in his voice. "Well can we hang out upstairs? With everyone else?" Asks Nashi.

What should I say? Storm breathes in.

"I'd rather be alone with you...because I decided to finally tell you what I've been hiding."

Nashi looks at him confused. Sorry Luke.

"Nash...I'm your mate."

"Dad, grandma, we have a problem!" Luke Says bursting into the room. Anna sighs. "Knock before entering, so you need etiquette classes again?" She asks her grandchild and Luke shakes his head no. "Sorry, But, August is here...and he saw Nash.."

"What? Where is she?" Asks Natsu immediately standing up. "Don't worry! I don't think he got a look at her much, as soon as she came over Storm took her away, and told me how he was keeping her downstairs for awhile, and how I should come get them whenever he leaves."

"I'll go downstairs and-"

"You can't remember? Your King here you can't just leave like this, plus, it'll look weird if you leave." Says Anna, being logical. Natsu pouts. "Why do you have to act like Luce so much?" He Says only for her to ignore him. "For now, lets just count on Storm."

"I don't want that bastard with my little sister,"

"And I don't wanna that bastard with my daughter," Natsu Says. Anna rolls her eyes at their unique ways. "You know, he is her mate, and he knows better. He wouldn't do anything bad....you guys know that."

"Yeah, yeah, lemme go back before August gets suspicious." Says Luke going out of the room. "How'd the talk with your dad go?" McKenzie whispers to him. No one was paying attention to them because they were talking to August.

"Good I guess. Could've went better. I just hate the fact that Storm's with my little sister." Says Luke. "Ugh, you Dragneel's. For the most part...Storm's a good boy. He wouldn't do anything wrong to Nash and you know it." McKenzie scolds him. "You sound like my grandmother..." Luke jokes playfully only for her to punch him making him yelp a little.

"That's not what I'm worried about Kenzie..." Luke trails off and McKenzie's confused.

"Storm's sixteen now, and if he doesn't mark Nash before he's seventeen he could die. The only exception is for people's mates that have died, there's no other ways, and you know how me and you acted. We could keep our hands off eachother."

"Your right...I totally forgot..." trails off McKenzie. "You think he'll tell her?" Asks Luke. McKenzie shrugs, leaning on Luke's shoulder. "Knowing him...he'll do what's best for her not himself." Says McKenzie.

"What're you two whispering about?" August asks them causing them to jump.

"U-uhm stuff! You know, because me and Luke are mates so we're talking about things that mates do and-" "Enough Said." Comments Rosemary And everyone laughs.

"Hey, wheres Storm? He rarely comes and I was hoping we could catch up."

"Oh Storm? Uhm...he's asleep. He got barely any sleep on the way here because me and Reiki kept playing pranks on him." Says Luke, sending Reiki a look. Thankfully, Reiki catches on. "Yeah, And we trained today so he's out like a light. He probably won't wake up till tomorrow."

"Hm, that's sad...especially when I came all this way to see him, I guess I'm heading home now." Says August, a sad look on his face. "So you didn't even wanna see your own cousin? Harsh." Says Luke crossing his arms.

"Nope. I see you too much."

"You sure your not gonna spend the night? I mean, it's a three hour trip back." Says McKenzie.

"I'll be fine, I have training with my father in the mornjng anyway, and I wasn't supposed to even come here in the first place."

"Always disobeying. I should tell Uncle Zeref." Says Luke. "Then I should tell Uncle Natsu about you and McKenzie. I'm sure he knows you guys have marked eachother, but, does he know you're-"

"Okay, okay! Not everyone needs to know that. Including my younger siblings." Says McKenzie.

August laughs. "I'll be leaving now. See you all whenever!" August waves before leaving.

Nashi laughs. "That's a good joke Storm. Funny." Says Nashi laughing some more.

Storm blushes, turning the other way. "I'm not joking Nash. I'm serious I'm your mate." Nashi crosses her arms. "Prove it." She smirks and Storm smirks back.

"Fine then, I will." Storm Says standing up and taking his shirt off. "W-Wait why are you stripping? I hope you know I-" But Nashi stops seeing the mark on his chest. She looks down to her hand and then back to the one on his chest in astonishment, and when it glows she feels this weird sensation go through her body and she doesn't know what to feel.

Should she be happy, sad? Mad?

"Why'd you keep this from me?" Asks Nashi, her voice becoming softer. "I-I didn't want to, your brother thought it was best-" "Since when has Luke stopped you from doing something?" She Questions and Storm's silent.

"Nash don't be mad-" he tries to pull her into a hug but she pushes away, and Storm can feel rejection going through his vains.

"I wanna think this all through." Says Nashi, not even facing him while saying this.

"Okay..." Storm Says, And for the next few hours they sit in silence.

Luke, don't you think it's time to go and get Storm and Nashi? Asks McKenzie. One thing about mates was that you could talk to eachother through your mind, and if they wanted you too, you could hear all their thoughts and feel all their feelings.

Shit, thanks for reminding me. Luke thanks her before standing up.

"Guys, I'll be back, I'm gonna Get Storm and Nash real quick." Luke Says heading downstairs.

"Hey guys, wanna come up stairs because-" But Luke stops when he sees the distance between the two, and that they both were blushing awkwardly. He could feel the awkward aura in the air.

"Guys?" Asks Luke And Nashi's the first stand.

"Oh, Hey Luke...I'm going to my room now." Says Nashi and before he could say anything she went upstairs.

Luke turns towards Storm. "What did you do?" Asks Luke.

Storms stands up and walks past him coldly, but not before saying "It's none of your business."

"August, don't try and sneak in, I already know you went out." Zeref Says, calmly. August sighs. "I'm sorry father, but, I haven't seen my friends in awhile and I thought we could train."

"Your fine but, you should've told me first. How was the training?"

"Oh, amazing. But, you know what's even more amazing?" Asks August. "I met a girl, that looks just like Luke and Uncle Natsu. Pink hair, and chocolate brown eyes. She looks exactly like my late Aunt Lucy too."

"Hm, that's nice to know. Maybe we can both pay them a trip tomorrow?" Zeref Says, laughing a bit to himself.

So that was all a coy, huh Natsu?
