|Arc 1| Chapter Eleven.

The next day, everyone woke early and began packing up the carriages. Yukino and Levy had only packed for a week, while Lucy was packing for what seemed like a lifetime.

"I'm sorry you had to be born into this Nashi..." Lucy trails off as she picks up her daughter that morning.

"Natsu..." She says.

"What?"

"I think it's better if Nashi doesn't know about you. Only for her safety. You wouldn't want her getting wrapped up in his Zeref's plans?"

Natsu stays silent, probably thinking about it. "True...but she'll start thinking like Luke. Luke didn't have a mother growing up, and Nashi will be raised without a father as well.

"Yeah, but it's better than her getting too attached isn't it?" Natsu sighs. "I hate when your right...." he says, and Lucy can't help but smile. "Luke can atleast know about his sister right?" Asks Natsu, And Lucy nods. "Of course. Let's just hope he understands all of this. Promise me you'll explain it to him correctly?" Asks Lucy and Natsu nods, noticing it was time for her to leave.

"I promise. Just like I promise to see you every month. I love you Lucy," Says Natsu kissing her lips. "I love you too Natsu, be safe. And don't be a reckless King," She Says with a slight smirk. "Me? Never," he says as they kiss once again.

"Lukey," Says Lucy, calling over her son.

She kisses him on the forhead. "This isn't the last time you'll be seeing me and your sister. You and daddy will visit every month. And you'll get to visit Storm up North. Just be strong through this okay?" She Asks.

"Okay..." Says Luke, giving his mother a kiss, and giving Nashi one aswell.

"I love you, Luke."

"I love you too mommy."

"How long is the trip?" Asks Lucy, once she's settled into the carriage. "Three days, and it sucks that I won't get to see Nashi grow...who knows. Maybe her and Gale could've been mates." Says Levy.

"Speaking of mates, have you checked her mark yet?" Asks Yukino, rubbing her pregnant stomach.

"Oh yeah your right." Says Lucy, shifting her daughters position in her arms.

"It's on her hand," says Lucy in awe. "And it has fire with sparkles, like Luke's, but on the other half it has ice with specks off Gray."

Levy immediately smiles. "Looks Like fate brought her and Gray's son Storm together. That's cute. Atleast me and Lucy are in-laws by McKenzie." Says Levy. "But Grace or Gale could always be tied to Yukino's son or daughter."

"Sting's hoping for it to be tied to Rogue, whenever they decide to have a child." Says Yukino.

And for the next three days they y'all randomly, while Lucy took care of Nashi.

"What's Gray's wife like...?" Asks Lucy. She's known Gray as long as she's known Natsu, but she never knew his wife.

"Well...she's a little defensive when it comes to her husband, but she's really nice." Says Yukino. "Yukino basically explaining Juvia the nice way. I love Juvia, she's amazing, but she can be a little...Well you'll find out when we get there. Which is now." Says Levy, and all of Lucy's fear inside her rises.

Lucy quickly fixes her dress, and tries to make her self at least presentable. She had nothing to worry about with Gray...but his wife was a probably a different story.

Lucy follows her friends as they go into the palace, a sleeping Nashi in her hands, and as soon as their looking upon the King and Queen of the North, she bows.

"Nice to see you after so long Lucy, glad to know your not dead. Nice to see Levy and Yukino aswell." Gray's the first to speak, and Lucy can see that his wife his eyeing her aswell. Lucy also can't help but notice the boy alongside her mothers side.

"Gray's told Juvia much about you Lucy, and how your childhood friends. I want us to get along well, however, if your staying here, which could put Juvia's family and her Kingdom in trouble, why should I allow it? Don't you think we should get something in return?"

"Juvia-"

"No, she's right. I can't allow you guys to protect me without anything in return." Lucy stands. "This is my daughter Nashi, who was born not even a week ago. Levy tells me that she has the same mark as Storm, and if qcorrect, I will allow her to marry him at eighteen, as long as their fate doesn't change." Lucy had no problem with this, if fate wanted them together, they'd end up together, so allowing their marriage was no problem.

"May Juvia see her mark?" She asks and Lucy nods, stepping closer to let her hold her daughter. Juvia looks at Nashi's hand and sure enough, it's just like Storm's.

"Juvia your not gonna-"

"I agree." Says Juvia a smile upon her face, and Lucy can feel the weight off her shoulders being lifted.

"Storm, this is Luke's mother, and also the mother of your future wife." Says Juvia, showing Storm the baby.

"This is Luke's little sister?" Asks Storm, and Lucy can't help but be reminded of her own son.

Juvia nods. "Yes, and I want you to take care of her when your older." Says Juvia and Storm nods.

"It's nice to meet you Aunty Lucy!" Says Storm giving Lucy a hug, and Lucy feels her heart melt.

"I'll start the tour..." trails off Gray, who wasn't fond at being in laws with Natsu.
