|Arc 1| Chapter Eight.

~Month Five~

"Natsu!" Whines Lucy. "Are we almost there? I don't wanna be blindfolded anymore! You know I could trip and fall and hurt your child correct?" Asks Lucy.

"Calm down Luce. We're here." Says Natsu pulling off the blindfold, revealing a beautiful skyline ahead of Lucy.

"Is this...?" Natsu nods.

"Where we first met." He finishes, looking her in the eyes as they steal a kiss. 

"Mommy, daddy! I'm hungry!" Says Luke interrupting them. Both parents laugh. "I'll set up the picnic." Says Natsu and Lucy nods.

"Isn't the skies beautiful Luke?" Asks Lucy. Luke nods. "Yeah! It's like your eyes!" He says making Lucy's heart melt. She gives her son a hug. "Your the cutest!" She says.

"Mommy! Your gonna suffocate me!" He says escaping her grasp. Lucy smiles. "C'mon, let's go eat." Says Lucy leading them back to the blanket they set up.

"Do you remember how we met?" Asks Lucy, as she lays on Natsu's chest, eating a strawberry. "Of course. I was in your so called secret spot since I didn't feel like meeting you at first. I hid from my parents because I didn't want to meet you and went here, only to find you here. I didn't know it was you however." Says Natsu, holding her tighter.

"Then, it was like love at first sight. We hit it off and walked back to the Kingdom, only to realize we were being married off to each other."

"And then we fell in love for real, got mated, got married, had Luke...and then...I disappeared..." trails off Lucy.

"But you came back," Says Natsu.

Lucy stays silent. "You wanna know the real reason I left..." she Asks, their faces close to each other.

"Why-"

"Mommy Look! I caught a firefly!" Exclaims Luke. Lucy turns away from Natsu and smiles. "You did, come show mommy!" Says Lucy as Luke walks over.

From then, they didn't finish their conversation as they headed back.

And that morning it was too late, since Zeref had arrived.

"Nice to see you well, Zeref." Greets Anna. "You too Anna. Never in all my years of knowing you would I thought that Natsu and Lucy would end up together."

"Me either, but fate does have its ways." Zeref nods. "That It does," he says.

"Uncle Zeref!" Calls Luke, running into his arms. Zeref Smiles. "It's good to see you again Luke." Says Zeref.

"It's also nice to see my little brother and his wife doing fine aswell."

"How's the baby Lucy?" Asks Zeref. Lucy laughs. "She's energetic. I'm ready for her to come out." She Speaks and Zeref nods. "Reasonable. I'll be staying until she's here." He says.

"Let me show you to your room, Zeref, I'm sure your ready to settle in?" Asks Anna. "Of course. Let's head there now." Says Zeref, about to head out when Lucy fell to her knees. Natsu was immediately by her side. "Luce, what's wrong?" Asks Natsu, who didn't like to hear her agonizing screams.

"I-I think I'm going into labor."
