Hey everyone important message at the bottom of the update!!!

If Zhao Yunlan wasn't in school, he was probably running around the streets like a cat; pickpocketing from rich tourists; getting into fights with other gangs and stealing food from stalls when he was hungry. School didn't hold much interest to him, he found the subjects boring, unpractical.

He climbed over a fence with a sign saying "Keep Out" and sprinted down the alley way. In a small abandoned basement, hidden in the rubble and rubbish of the city, him and his cat Da Qing would live. Da Qing was Zhao Yunlan's oldest friend; when he was left abandoned on the doorstep of an orphanage as a baby, the cat Da Qing had picked him up and brought him inside, ever since staying with him and protecting him.

Yunlan knew Da Qing wasn't a normal cat, he understood everything he said to him and responded with exactly what he needed. He would ruffle his fuzzy orange fur and tell him, "Old Da Qing, you are smarter than any human I know." With the help of his faithful cat he had managed to escape the horrible orphanage and find a new place to stay, this basement.

Zhao Yunlan was a scruffy 17 year old. He had shaggy, brown, wavy hair, tied into a messy pony. His shirt fit tightly to his strong muscles and he always had a smirk and a bruise on his face. He didn't own school uniform, the pair he was lent from the school renting station already ruined after a messy street fight. Instead he wore what he could find, or steal, from street shops and houses.

No one thought twice about Yunlan's strange looks and behavior anymore, and he gained popularity for being funny and friendly, making hilarious comments in class and sticking up for people in the lunch room. He would treat everyone with kindness and a bit of sarcasm. Soon even the teachers adored his light-hearted personality and humour.

He crouched down to jump into the window of his basement. He had broken his door lock when trying to break in one night after he had forgotten his key. Yunlan knew he was a bit scatterbrained, so he didn't bother trying to fix it, instead climbing in and out of the window.

He slipped inside and looked around. Everything was in place, the dishevelled couch and his tools. The small refrigerator and electric cooker he had picked out of the garbage and fixed.

Scattered around the room was bits and bobs from cars, bikes and all types of electrical appliances he could salvage. Yunlan loved to piece the parts together, building new machines and improving old ones. He had fixed his own motorcycle, and would use it when he had enough money to buy gas for it.

But, even though everything was in place, Zhao Yunlan felt uneasy. Where was Da Qing? He was always waiting home for him when he came home from school, and from there they would plan their night. He knew he shouldn't worry, but he could sense a change in the air, something imminent. Unsettled he lay down on the couch and fell asleep.

Hi everyone :) sorry for the short update today, I've had a super busy day today and this week is also gonna be crazy.
I have a sisters wedding (:d) and exams (:0) in the same week!!!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm going to be adding in different characters from other BL Drama/Books. (Cheers!)

I'm hopefully going to include the Guardian and Advancing Bravely. If anyone hasn't read/watched these the translated versions are on Wattpad and the subtitles to the series are on YouTube. If you need a link, comment and I'll send you one!

I hope this works out well :) Their all going to be interacting in a highschool setting, going about their individual stories at the same time.

Let me know if you want someone else added!!
