Shao Fei dragged himself into detention. He yawned, rubbing his eyes vigorously. By the time school was over he was exhausted. He was used to rushing home, eating and then relaxing the night away, only until later in the night would he unravel his homework and force his way through it; sometimes into the wee hours of the morning. It wasn't uncommon for him to awaken with a sore neck, having slept sitting, slumped over his papers the whole night.

Shao Fei found it hard to break this bad habit, he was always so tired right after school, and today was no exception. He sat in detention, a tiny room used during the day for teacher-student meetings. There was only one table, and four chairs around it. He dropped his stuff down on the table and took his homework out.

"Crap, here I am all alone in detention, whilst Zhao Li is playing video games." He moaned to himself. He didn't notice Tang Yi behind him, getting startled when he sat down opposite him.

'Ah,' he nervously chewed the inside of his cheeks, 'better to be alone, this can't get any worse!' He lowered his face to the table trying to hide his nervousness.

Tang Yi was dreading the hours to come. He  could hear Shao Fei's heart beat and it was making his blood rush. Everything smelt of Shao Fei, his beautiful aura was unbearably strong in the small room.

Shao Fei had an aura that Tang Yi couldn't understand, he had never encountered anything like it in his life. It was sweet but dark; light but mysterious; it was like heaven and like the lowest part of the ocean. The most confusing thing however, was the colour. It had none. Tang Goudong had told Tang Yi there was no human without a colour in their aura, but Shao Fei's aura remained colourless, like pure light, not giving any clue to his mood, personality, thoughts or feelings. For years this had driven Tang Yi insane, spending nights in agony, trying to crack the strange mystery of Shao Fei.

He swallowed deeply and tried to focus on his homework. It didn't take long for him to feel stirring within him though, and he felt an animalistic desire to pounce onto Shao Fei and to dig his fangs into his Adams apple, that would bob up and down everytime he swallowed. If not for years of practice and self-control around Shao Fei, Tang Yi was sure that his angel would be dead by now. Subconsciously his fangs grew and dug deep into his clenched lip. Bright red blood oozed out of Tang Yi's lip.

Shao Fei sneaked a glance at Tang Yi. He noticed the blood dripping out his bottom lip and on reflex, raised his arm across the table and brushed it away. Stunned at his subconscious actions he kept fingers frozen on Tang Yi's lower lip, staring wildly into Tang Yi's eyes, petrified for his reaction.

"Uh Tang Yi, I'm sorry," he muttered going bright pink. "Eh reflex reaction! I had no control. You are bleeding! Are you ok? Maybe you need a plaster!" He gushed loudly, trying to hide his panic and embarrassment.

Then coming to his senses, he dropped his hand from Tang Yi's face and hid it under the table. 'I'm screwed, any moment now he'll crack my fingers off,' he thought. But when peeking up, Tang Yi had the same cool, stone faced expression he always had on, but was staring intensely at him, eyes boring into Shao Fei.

Suddenly shy, Shao Fei buried his head into the table and closed his eyes. 'Look away,' he silently pleaded.

But Tang Yi couldn't look away. He still felt the warm brush of Shao Fei's slender fingers, and his lips tingled at the touch. His blood rushed down him. He could only stare into Shao Fei's eyes, wondering and unable to tell what his next move would be. Only when Shao Fei hid his face was he able to break his eye contact and force himself to snap out of his fantasies in order to concentrate.

A little hum from cars in the street could be heard as the sun slowly began to set. It was 9:00 pm now and Tang Yi had completed his work. Shao Fei was peacefully sleeping, head slumped in his arms on the table. Tang Yi had stayed in school with him, unsure what to do in this situation. Waking Shao Fei mean't disturbing this adorable child's dreams. Shao Fei had a blissful expression on his face, and Tang Yi wanted to watch it for longer. But Tang Yi began to worry, what about Shao Fei's parent's, won't they worry about him? How will he get home alone? It wasn't safe for him to leave him alone in the school and Tang Goudong would be waiting for Tang Yi, so he couldn't stay with him in school either.

Tang Yi reached towards Shao Fei's head. Gently and hardly trusting himself not to break him, he tenderly pet his hair. He couldn't believe how good it felt to touch Shao Fei, how soft and silky and thick his hair was.

"Shao Fei, Shao Fei," he murmured thickly, leaning over the table so his mouth was closer to his ear. "Wake up, you need to go home." Shao Fei didn't stir.

"A Fei," he whispered, "you stubborn little boy." He quietly packed up Shao Fei's belongings and put his schoolbag on his own shoulders. Wrapping one arm around his smooth back, he placed his large hands in between his shoulder blades and the other under his legs, hoisting Shao Fei up into his arms, bridal style. He was worried that Shao Fei would be uncomfortable on his back and also wanted to watch his chest rise and fall as he breathed deeply. He gently caressed his face, brushing locks of hair out the way.

Suddenly, Shao Fei squirmed and whimpered, pressing his body on Tang Yi's and rubbing his curvy butt against him. Tang Yi froze, nearly dropping Shao Fei. He continued to stand frozen, as Shao Fei seductively twisted and rotated in his arms, all hot and sweaty.

"Hmm, you smell good," mumbled Shao Fei and he lay his head on Tang Yi's chest, pressing his face into his tight muscles, mouth hanging open. Tang Yi gasped, and began to walk very fast towards the bus.

The whole bus ride, Tang Yi held sleeping Shao Fei tight, refusing to let go. 'Its only so he doesn't wake up,' he told himself, 'if he woke up he'd start saying annoying things and I'd have to answer him.' Yet, everytime Shao Fei shifted, Tang Yi would bite his tongue hard, suppressing a low moan.

When they finally arrived at Shao Fei's house he scaled the wall, opening his bedroom window and climbing in, all the while carefully holding onto Shao Fei.

Tang Yi knew where Shao Fei lived. He would follow him home whenever Shao Fei was drunk, making sure no-one preyed on him. He would watch him stumble into his house and wait until the light in his room would turn off. Besides, it was so clearly Shao Fei's room, everything was drenched in his smell.

Gently he lay Shao Fei on his bed, undoing Shao Fei's arms from around his neck. Tang Yi began to undress him, opening his shirt buttons, but stopped abruptly. Rushing to the window he jumped out, landing on all fours and sprinted away like a cheetah.

Only when he arrived in the safety of his room did he let out a low growl, moaning at the fantasy of Shao Fei squriming on him as they lay in his bed.

"Tang Yi!"

Tang Goudong shook him out of his reverie, making him jump. "Your home later than usual."

"Yes, I had detention."
