Finally I heard the knock at the door.
It wasn't like he was late.
I'm just a little anxious.
I slowly opened the door, standing with my hip popped out a little.
"Hey," I smiled.
"Hey," he replied, a large smile spread across his handsome face. "You look great."
"Thanks." I giggled. "You ready to go?"
"Uh yeah," he snapped out of his daze and let me step in front of him.
He opened the passenger side door of his truck, and let me step in.
"What a gentleman." I giggled as he sat down.
"It's always my pleasure." He joked, starting the car.
The ride to the theater was nice, and we had light conversation.
I was slowly realizing that I was giggling a lot more than I normally did.
Geez, Kent probably thought I was annoying.
He opened the door for me again as we entered the large building.
I loved this theatre. I've been coming here since I was little. Case always got stuck with me whenever he went with his friends. So I grew up mostly on superhero movies.
White stars were painted on the high ceilings.
The hallway to the theaters was dark."So what movie are we going to see?" I questioned as we approached the ticket counter.
"You'll find out soon enough."
"Keeping secrets are we?" I playfully nudged him with my shoulder. "I'm fine with whatever movie, as long as it's not a horror movie."
"Oh, you don't like horror movies?"
"Absolutely not. They terrify me."
"Maybe I should take you to see one, then you'll you can jump in my arms." He winked.
He ran a hand through his curly brown hair, ruffling it a little.
His soft pink lips curled in to a smirk, as I swatted his arm.
We moved up the the counter, the girl behind the counter smiled at us.
"Two End Game tickets please." Kent slid her a twenty through the hole in the glass.
I looked at him with wide eyes.
"You like the movie I chose?" He looked amused.
The girl at the counter chuckled and gave us our tickets and Kent's change.
I nodded my head, as he guided us to the snack bar.
"I love superhero movies, but I couldn't find anyone to go see them with."
"Hey, I'm surprised, I don't know that many girls who like those kinds of movies." He replied.
"Well I love them."
As we approached the counter, I glanced up at menu, debating what size drink and popcorn to get.
"Do you wanna share a popcorn?" He nudged me, redirecting my attention.
I smiled up at him and nodded my head.
"But if we do, I get to pay." I poked him in the chest.
"Um yeah, not happening." She shook his head, causing his brown curls to shake.
