"I passed! I can't believe I passed!" Christine turned to the professor with her eyes moist with tears.
"You certainly did, Miss Zarzycki! All that studying and tutoring paid off. You should be very proud of yourself," Professor Hall said, beaming at her.
"Are you sure I passed? Do you want to look it over again?" Christine asked, still unsure whether she could actually relax.
"No, I don't have to," the professor smiled kindly. "I see you have enough answers right to pass. You've made it through microeconomics. It's one of the toughest required courses, my students tell me."
Christine couldn't give herself permission to relax. She had been so wound up about this course all semester. Finally, she took a deep breath. "Now I have to get used to not worrying."
"You will," Professor Hall was still smiling. "Give yourself permission to celebrate."
She looked at him. "That's a great idea. Everything worked out. Why not? And I know just how to do it."
As she left the classroom, Christine said to herself, I'm going to the movie set and tell Ryan the great news! He's wrapping up his film. This will be perfect!

Finishing the last day on the set, Ryan couldn't wait to party his brains out when it was finally over. He and co-star Felicia Montero had to complete a lengthy bed scene on the final day. Felicia and her agent were determined to spread her fame to the United States, and Ryan saw her potential to hit it big: she had dark, beguiling eyes surrounded by thick black eyelashes. When she sauntered her hour-glass figure around the set, people couldn't help staring.
During the bed scene, Ryan was surprised Felicia did not feel self-conscious or awkward as actors usually do for these scenes; on the contrary, she appeared to relish snuggling up under the sheets and when they needed to kiss, she kept her lips locked with his far longer than necessary. Cast members and crew snickered. Ryan enjoyed it.
"We can do this off the set too, amor," Felicia whispered in his ear between takes. She winked and smoothed his chest for added emphasis.
"You like Ryan, yes?" she said when he failed to respond. His eyes were shining and he merely grinned.
In the back of his mind was a picture of Christine, but right now he couldn't resist this beautiful woman who clearly wanted him.
But Christine. What about Christine?
Ryan decided that when this scene was completed, he was going to make a beeline for his trailer to escape Felicia's seduction.
