Sleeping In - One Shot

This is set after they decide to live together (married or not, you decide).

You'd expect (Y/N) to be the early bird from the two, considering Kyoya was the 'Shadow King' and all that, who doesn't like to be woken up. You know, cuz that's how couples normally work, they're supposed to be total opposites.

Au contraire, though, (Y/N) does NOT wake up. Like, Kyoya will sleep until his alarm goes off because he is strict with his timings.

(Y/N), however, will sleep until the last possible second, even if her life depended on in. She'd open her eyes to check the time, think about all the stuff she has to do, calculate how long it will take her to cram everything together, all of that is maybe 30 seconds, then go back to sleep for the rest of the time.

Kyoya does not support that kind of behaviour. He has taken over the family business and (Y/N) works there with him, so obviously she has to look presentable. And she does, but Kyoya's thought process is more like: if I have to wake up into this hell, then she does too.

So one particularly bad day, (Y/N) is refusing to get out of bed because she didn't get enough sleep due to staying up until 4 am doing whatever the hell she was doing.

"Just get up!" Kyoya shots at her "It's not that hard!"

"NO I'M HIBERNATING!" She shouts hiding under the covers.

"What?! It's not that cold out! And you're not even an animal!" Kyoya hisses through his teeth trying to pull the covers off of her

"I CAN BE IF I WANT TO!" And she bites his hand.

"OW! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" He wipes his hand on the pillow. "Just get out of bed!" He finally manages to get the covers on the floor so she curls up into a ball to protect her eyes from the scorching sunlight.

"NO!" She screeches.

"Ugh... That's it..." He picks up (Y/N) bridal style, and carries her out of the room into the bathroom.

"HEY!" She kicks obviously trying to escape. "PUT ME DOWN!"

"Your wish is my command," Kyoya replies as he puts her down and locks the door from the other side.

The evil genius then goes back to their room, fixes the bed, and goes back to sleep himself.

Eventually, (Y/N) manages to get out by picking the lock. She sees Kyoya sleeping peacefully and decides to give him hell for it. She throws herself at the empty side of the bed which, since she made Kyoya get them an air mattress, catapults him off the bed and straight onto the floor.

I found this in my drafts so have it. I don't know if I'm going to write as far as Kyoya and (Y/N) moving in together but writing this was really fun. And I know I said I'd publish the next chapter but I got obsessed with cute scenarios and one shots, I'm sorry. But if someone could come save me from this rabbit hole I went down, I'd be grateful thank you very much.
