"No."
"No! No! No!!!"
Changbin couldn't talk anymore. He wanted to shout, but there was no sound. He wanted to run, but he couldn't move.
"Not him!" Changbin screamed, his eyes getting watery.
Suddenly the security guard ran past Changbin, kneeling down. He checked things, trying to keep his breathing calm.
"Please! Please tell me he's breathing!!!" Changbin yelled, crawling next to the guard.
The guard eyed Changbin, shaking his head in shame. "I... he..."
"NO! DO NOT LET HIM DIE!!!" Changbin screamed, grabbing Felix into his arms, hugging him.
The scene was terrible. Changbin held Felix in his arms, crying loudly. The youngest was bloody. His throat slashed open, blood gushing out. There was a wound in his stomach, and in the wound, there was a knife sticking out. Felix's eyes were open and his face was left with a fearful expression.
"D-don't touch him... we need to call an ambulance!" The guard tried getting Changbin to let go, but alas, Changbin wasn't going to obey.
He wanted to hold his love in his arms until the very end.
"He's dead! Help me!" Changbin screamed. "WHO CAN DO THIS TO MY ANGEL!?!?"
Nothing could be done anymore. Felix was dead. He had stopped breathing many hours ago, leaving behind a grayish body, that was splattered with blood.
Soon the police arrived. They took Changbin out of the room, saying he needs to stay calm.
How could Changbin do that? How could he be calm, when someone he loved, was dead?
"Hey, listen to me..."
Changbin flipped his head towards the source of the voice. It was the guard he was with earlier.
"Listen... you need to go home..." The guard said, his voice shaking too. "You know... he's not coming back. Police are going to do their everything to catch the killer... you need to go home and rest..."
"I... I can't go there!" Changbin yelled. "What am I supposed to tell them!?"
"You... you just have to go... it's not good for you to stay here." The guard tried explaining. "Go home and try to get some sleep, okay?"
Eventually, Changbin gave up. He knew the guard was right. He knew he would have to go home and tell everyone, what had happened. He didn't want to, but he needed to.
Changbin was walking slowly. His legs couldn't carry his weight properly, as his eyes were filled with tears once again. He looked down at his hands, noticing how much they were shaking. He stuffed them into his pockets, trying to make the feeling stop.
What?
Changbin stopped walking and swirled his hand around in his pocket. There was something in there. He picked it up and brought it to his face, examining it closely.
A Shiny hourglass. It was the size of his phone, glittering in green. Changbin was confused and he even thought of throwing it away, but something made him put it back into his pocket and continue walking.
His hand hovered over the door handle. He was trying to gather all of his strength to go inside.
You lost him.
Why do you have to say it like that!? I didn't know about it! I...
You could have saved him if you didn't let him go.
I, you're right... I could've saved him...
Changbin shook his head, grabbing the door handle, opening it. He stomped inside, throwing his shoes off. Changbin went straight to the living room and sat down on the couch. No one seemed to be awake, or they were in their rooms.
Changbin wiped the tears off his face, trying to maintain a serious face. He didn't want to scare anyone.
"Changbin?"
Oh great... of course Chan would be awake.
"Binnie? Where's Lix?"
That hurt. That hurt so damn much.
Changbin put his hands on his face, his breathing getting fast again.
"Binnie? A-are you okay?" Chan's gentle voice asked and Changbin felt a shift on the couch.
"I'm sorry! I'm so sorry hyung!" Changbin suddenly cried out and leaned his head onto the leader's lap. "I couldn't do anything!"
"W-what do you mean? Binnie, what happened?" Chan asked, looking at the younger.
"I can't say it... there was so much blood, hyung! I was so scared!"
"Blood??? Binnie..." Chan grabbed Changbin's shoulders lifting him up from his lap. "You have to tell me."
"Hyung..." Changbin wailed, tears pouring down his face.
This was something, Chan had never seen. Changbin didn't want others to see him cry, so he usually hid when it happened. Now, Changbin was crying so much, he had to gasp for air.
"Binnie, please..." Chan pleaded. He knew something was very wrong.
"I... I found him in the room... he- there was blood all over the floor and the walls and... and he- his t-throat was..." Changbin sobbed.
"Lix? Lix was in the room? And blood? Did he hurt himself?"
"N-no..."
"Then what?"
Changbin shut his eyes. He couldn't say it. He just couldn't.
"Binnie, please tell me..."
"Hyung, he was murdered! A knife sticking out of his stomach and a huge fucking wound on his throat! Someone killed him! My angel!!!" Changbin screamed. "HE WASN'T BREATHING AND I TRIED TO HELP BUT EVEN THE GUARD SAID HE'S ALREADY GONE! I, IT WAS MY FAULT, HYUNG!!!!"
Chan heard those words. He heard them, but it took him at least a minute to understand and process what had been said. His eyes wandered off to Changbin's hands, which had dried blood on them.
"Y-you... you mean..."
"I MEAN THAT FELIX IS DEAD!!!!!!!"
Silence... silence... silence...
Crying.
Chan looked back and he saw Jeongin sitting on the floor, bawling his eyes out. Everyone heard it... they must have.
Changbin was in shock, staring at his hands, covered in blood. Chan just stared at Jeongin, not being able to move.
What kind of leader let's one of his own get killed?
No, I... he just left to practice... How? How could he...?
That night, all of the boys gathered in the living room, crying together. Crying themselves to sleep. They didn't know what else to do.
