Everything felt dark. Even though Changbin had always joked about liking dark things, he hated this feeling. It was like he had lost all hope.
He once again looked at Felix, who packed his stuff in his backpack. Changbin watched his hair, his face, his hands. Felix was so beautiful.
When Felix had packed, he walked into the living room. Changbin followed him, listened to him talking and then went out with him.
Felix walked in peace, ignorantly toward the building. Changbin knew. He knew things would take a serious turn soon.
Felix opened the door, walking straight to the studio. He put his backpack on the floor and connected his phone to the speaker.
Changbin looked. He waited for the right moment. This time he had a plan. He had a good plan, that would have to work.
After few minutes of Felix setting things up, the door opened. Changbin once again stared at the man's face. He knew him. Changbin remembered his face from somewhere.
Is he working in this building? No... I don't remember seeing him here often. Maybe he's someone from our past? Maybe...
The man said the same old stuff, wiggling his way closer to Felix. Then Changbin started. He took out a piece of paper from his pocket, writing something quickly on it. Then he approached the intruder. He walked to him, breathed in and out. Then he attacked.
Changbin flew across the studio, managing to grab the knife from the man. The man looked around confused, trying to take the knife back. That's when Felix saw it. He saw the knife.
Felix's face turned white and he froze. Changbin threw the knife to the corner of the room, opposite to the man. Then Changbin took the paper, crumbled it up and threw it to Felix.
The paper hit Felix's leg and he stared at it. Changbin was almost praying Felix would pick it up. He did, thank god.
Felix quickly read it and he stuffed it into his pocket. Then he ran to take his phone.
Changbin was trying his best to keep the man away from him, while Felix was trying to escape. He kicked chairs and other things at the man, who pushed them away. Changbin then remembered something he took with him.
"That's right! Minho's pepper spray!" Changbin screamed and took it.
He aimed and shot. The pepper spray hit the man's face and he stumbled back, covering his eyes. Changbin turned to Felix.
"Quick Lixie! Run away!" Changbin screamed and it was like Felix had heard him somehow.
Felix had his phone in his hand as he bolted out of the room. Changbin ran after him, quickly peeking over his shoulder, only to see the man running after them. Changbin ran up to Felix, going past him.
Changbin knew Felix was bad with directions and panic wasn't going to make it easier for him, so Changbin would have to show him the way to safety.
Changbin ran, kicking stuff, dropping stuff and making noises, so Felix saw or heard him and knew to follow him.
Felix was running so fast, he was starting to feel dizzy. He held his phone close, trying to dial the emergency number, but of course, when he was panicking he forgot it.
Felix looked up ahead of him, noticing a chair move. "I- I don't remember it!" He yelled, panicking.
Changbin would have sighed if he had the time to. He glanced behind them, seeing the man after them. They were pretty far ahead, so Changbin quickly stopped and picked some grass from the ground. He placed the grass on the asphalt forming the number on it.
Felix stopped, watching the grass. "Oh... Oh! Yes! 119!" Felix huffed, dialing the number.
Changbin kicked a rock, so Felix realized to keep on running.
Felix followed Changbin, holding the phone to his ear. Soon, someone answered.
"I... someone's running after me! H-he had a knife! I... I think he's going to kill me!" Felix explained, struggling a bit with his korean.
"Yes! I'm trying to escape him... I- I'm in a park now and he's still coming after me..."
Changbin listened. He was still showing the way to Felix, by kicking stuff.
"O-okay... I- I see a store... Should I go there?" Felix stuttered.
He then nodded and ran to the store, going in. Changbin went after him, trying to see the man.
Felix ran to the cashier. "P-please, close the door! I... someone's after me! I... He's armed and he's coming here!"
The cashier looked at Felix like he was out of his mind. "What are you talking about?"
Felix pointed at his phone. "I have police coming to get that man, but please for the love of god, close the doors so he won't come inside!"
Changbin saw the man running towards the store. He ran outside, picking up trash can's lid. He threw it at the man.
Finally, the cashier understood the danger they were in and she ran to the door, pressing a button, which then shut off the door.
Changbin looked at Felix and the cashier, who were now safe. He sighed, letting his body relax. He felt like he succeeded.
The man was at the door, trying to get it open. "Listen you little shit! I am going to kill you! I will kill you!"
Felix was sitting on the floor, crying and holding his phone. The cashier lady was also talking to her phone, probably trying to figure out what was going on.
Changbin looked at the man. "You're crazy..." He huffed.
The man took something out of his pocket.
What? What the fuck???
Changbin looked at the man in despair.
How is this even possible?
The man stood behind the door, holding an hourglass, that was bright green.
Does he have the same hourglass???
Changbin dug his own hourglass from his pocket, looking at it and then looking at the man.
The man smiled, turning to look at Changbin. "So you were the one trying to stop me, eh?" He laughed. "Trying to be heroic?"
Changbin dropped to his knees, his head spinning. "H-how?"
"You weren't clever enough... Now I can kill you and then kill all of the others..."
At that moment, Changbin knew he was in danger.
He was in serious danger.
