"This can't go on like this." Woojin said, his hands on his thighs.
Chan nodded. "I know, but it's hard for me too. I don't know how to handle these feelings."
Woojin placed his hand on Chan's shoulder, giving him a small smile. "None of us know, but we still need to live... Even though he isn't here anymore, he would've wanted us to go on, I'm sure of it." He said.
"I'm most worried about Changbinnie..." Chan sighed.
Woojin took his hand away from the leader, taking in a sharp breath. "I... I know."
"He isn't eating, sleeping... he doesn't even talk to any of us!" Chan huffed. "He's just in his room, laying down..."
Jisung walked to them, sitting down. "Hyungs..."
"Yes?" Woojin asked.
"I... Changbin is acting weird." Jisung sighed.
Chan and Woojin looked at each other worriedly.
"He's talking to himself in his room. I heard him say something about some kind of plan..." Jisung explained.
Chan eyed him, brushing some hair off his forehead. "Don't worry... we're going to talk to him."
"I'm worried that he's never getting back to normal..." Jisung breathed out as he settled his head onto Woojin's lap. "I miss Lixie..."
Changbin stared at the hourglass. He wondered if it could be possible for him to travel back in time a bit more, than just five minutes. If he could travel back two days, he could save Felix.
But it was your fault!
He knows. He knows it was his fault, but it doesn't mean he doesn't want to save Felix.
Changbin sighed and put the hourglass in his pocket. He leaned on the wall and looked out the window. It was almost dark already. If he really wanted to save him, he would need to act soon.
"Binnie?"
Changbin looked at the door, that opened. Chan and Woojin walked in, closing the door behind them.
"Binnie, can we talk?" Woojin asked, sitting down next to the rapper.
Changbin didn't say anything but he nodded. He knew they wanted to make sure he was still somewhat sane.
"Listen, Binnie... we know it's hard for you to process this and... and we know how much you love him, but... you need to eat and sleep." Woojin started.
"You can't just stop living..." Chan added.
Changbin nodded.
"We thought maybe it would be easier for you to... talk to someone you don't know..." Chan said. "Like a... therapist...?"
Changbin's eyes shot wide open. Did they really think he was crazy? He shook his head and closed his eyes.
"But Binnie... you're getting worse... you need to process these things." Woojin said.
Changbin no longer wanted to listen, so he pressed his head on the pillow and closed his eyes. He did not want his friends to think he's out of his mind.
"Binnie... don't do this to us..." Woojin sighed. "We want to help."
"I will bring him back!" Changbin suddenly yelled, throwing his pillow on the floor. "I will bring him back to us! I won't let him die!"
Chan and Woojin got frightened and looked at each other.
"I will rather die than live without him!"
"Binnie now you're just saying stuff you haven't thought about," Chan said, trying to calm him down.
"No! I've been thinking about this and I know, I can't live without him! I need him!" Changbin screamed, pushing Woojin off the bed. "Leave me alone!!!"
Chan put his hand on Changbin's thigh, connecting eyes with him. "Calm down..."
"No!" Changbin yelled, pushing Chan away too. "LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!"
Woojin and Chan looked at each other again, deciding that it was better to leave him alone for now. They stood up and walked away from the room, closing the door. When they arrived in the kitchen, Woojin just started to cry.
"Hey, hyung... it's okay..." Chan said, pulling Woojin into a warm hug.
"I know he's mad and all, but he can't say those things!" Woojin sobbed, hugging their leader.
Changbin was sitting on his bed, wiping away tears. He knew he was mean, but he didn't want to go talk to a therapist. No way.
But Changbin, you're totally crazy.
No, he's not.
Changbin dug the hourglass out of his pocket, looking at it. It was once again glowing green. Changbin smiled. He knew this plan would have to work.
It was quite simple. Changbin would travel two days back and he would go with Felix. He would make Felix leave early and they would go to sleep, without a worry in their life.
Changbin knew what he had to do.
What if you fail?
I will not fail!
You destroy everything around you! You destroyed him!
I didn't!!! Now you're just saying weird things!!!
But you let him go then. If you had denied, he would be alive now.
Stop it! It wasn't my fault!
Don't deny what is a fact! It's all your fault! You killed him!
No! I did not! Please, stop it...
Changbin squeezed his hands into fists. He closed his eyes and breathed deeply. The voice was talking to him, but he tried his best to ignore it.
It couldn't be his fault... Felix would say it's not. Or if he could say anything at all.
Changbin felt his anxiety growing. Everyone was against him. The whole world hated him, or at least it felt like it. Why did his friends want him to forget Felix? Changbin didn't want to forget.
He opened his eyes and looked at his room. The hourglass was on the bed next to him. Changbin picked it up and brought it up to his eyes. The hourglass glowed beautifully. Changbin knew there was only one thing left to try.
He would have to go back.
Back in time.
