I'm pretty sure at some point in life when a parent says ''We are going to...*insert a place, location or fun activity* by (or hopefully) *incert time, date or month*'' it then doesn't happen or something goes wrong and the whole mood is killed.
Everyone wonders why kids or teenagers don't trust adults....it's sometimes because of the forgotten promises they made to us or the untruthful words they said to us.
Do you want examples? Well here are some you might have heard:
"We are going to go to Disney Land(or world), by *inset month*, if we get enough money. "
(It then doesn't happened. )"Your *insert relative* is going to come by later today"
(Something happens and they don't come. Making another piece of hope go away.)" If you be good then I'll get you *and your siblings if you have any* a treat."
(They either forget or get in a bad mood.)If you have anymore examples that made you lose trust or hope, then please put it in the comments.
