The Hunters
"We are the Hunters! Thank you and goodnight Chicago!" Dean yelled into his microphone. He placed it back in its stand and rushed off the stage with his brothers, hyped up with adrenaline and probably something else. They dodged through the red set until the group finally reached the backstage. The audience was still screaming.
Immediately their manager, Crowley, rushed up to the group. "What the hell was that Dean?!" he asked in his British accent.
Dean shrugged, "What do you mean?" He reached around the man to grab yet another bottle of scotch.
"If you're going to say goodnight to a city... FUCKING MAKE SURE IT'S THE RIGHT CITY DUMBASS!" Crowley scolded. "We're in Atlanta, you bloody idiot!"
Once again, Dean shrugged and started to drink his prize, directly out of the bottle. The other two Winchesters, Sam and Michael, just sat on the couch and watched in amusement as their manager lost his temper and left the room. Dean plopped down on the other couch in the room.
"So, where to next?" he asked. It wasn't necessarily directed to anyone.
Sam answered, "We're headed up to NYC in the morning and we'll play Radio City Music Hall tomorrow night."
Sam was the smart one of the group. He always made sure to keep track of the band's schedule just in case anyone asked. Besides, he didn't want to be like Dean who constantly screwed up what city they were in.
"Speaking of what's next, we have a meet and greet in," he looked at his watch. "Oh, it starts in like two minutes."
The guys all attempted to clean themselves up. Dean hid his drink and Michael tossed him a box of mints from across the room. They were pretty used to this by now. They were talking to fans who bought backstage passes almost every night at this point. A few moments later, exactly on time, Crowley walked back into the room with a group of mostly girls who rushed up to meet their role models.
Dean and Michael quickly went into what Sam calls "girl-mode". It was no secret that both guys had no problem when it came to impressing girls. If flirting were a professional sport, Dean would have a gold medal. As for Michael, well he was just hot (he got his looks from their dad).
Sam looked over at Dean who was chatting up a blonde. "So, you into guitarists?" he asked. All the girl did was giggle. He tried some other pick-up lines to. Something along the lines of "I think you're hotter than apple pie"?
Meanwhile, Michael was just looking helpless as three girls swarmed him, all talking at the same time. Two of them had gifts and the third was a little clingy. Sam made a mental note that security guards wouldn't be a bad idea for the future.
As for the youngest brother, he was just watching from afar. At one point, a guy came to talk to him about the drums he uses, but it was a pretty short conversation. Sam had never really been the social type, even when it came to his brothers. He just kept to himself and read his books.

The Novaks
Gabriel and Lucifer were sat on the couch in the apartment. Lucifer was trying to watch a new episode of Not Natural, but Gabe wasn't going to let that happen.
"Pleeeaase!" he begged, sticking his face right in his older brother's to make sure he had his attention.
Lucifer rolled his eyes, "No. I'm not singing a cover of any song by some stupid band called the Fire Demons. That doesn't even sound like a real name."
"What about a song by the Ghostfacers?" The two stared at each other with poker faces until they couldn't hold it in anymore and burst out laughing.
"You should ask Cassie anyways," Lucifer continued the conversation. "He's a better singer anyway, and he can play guitar better than most musicians."
"Really?" Gabriel looked at his brother like he was an idiot. "Castiel. Performing. In front of people. Do I need to remind you of the talent show in fifth grade?"
"Fine," he gave in. "But! I'm only doing one song, and it better be by a real band."
Gabriel jumped off the couch and dragged his older brother to his room where he had a mini studio set up. There was a small drum set, a keyboard, Gabe's many guitars, a mic, and a pretty impressive sound system. The room also had soundproof walls which had to be installed after several complaints from neighbors.
He handed Lucifer some sheet music, "We'll do 'Road Song' by the Hunters!" He popped a cherry red sucker in his mouth and watched as his brother raised one eyebrow.
"Hunters? What is that? It better not be country music."
"No, no, no. Hunters mean like monster hunters. It's on their website."
"Their website? Who do these guys think they are?"
Gabe just stared, "Sam, Dean, and Michael Winchester? Three super hot brothers who could take over the world and I'd be completely fine with it and probably apologize to them."
"Up until now, I forgot just how weird you are."
Gabriel smirked, "You love it. And BTW I call dibs on Sam. Now come on, let's do this thang!"

okay so this whole chapter felt pretty rushed and short because i just wanted to introduce the characters and set up the first part of the storyline that i've got planned. just for that i'm releasing chapter two on the same day as this just so that there is something of substance going on in this story.
if you're reading this... welcome to my first fanfiction ever! it's probably gonna suck, but i've really liked the musician idea for awhile now and thought it would be cool to use it.
thanks so much for reading!
