The boy was devastated and angry at the decision that was not for him to take, but for the person he trusted most, and he trusted her to make the right choice, but he was surprised. His blood boiled with the uselessness of not being able to change Elizabeth's decision. Minho comes home and quickly sinks his body into the mattress that moulds to his body, with his face directly on the pillow, inhaling the essence of the girl with blue hair, causing a bittersweet feeling in the poor boy's heart. On the one hand, the whole essence of the girl enveloped her body in a state of absolute dissolution of the world around her, inhabiting only the deepest memories of the curves explored in Elizabeth's body, her warmth that glued her to Minho's sweaty chest that melted with the heat of the moment, her whispers echoed within the mind of the boy with brown hair as if she were still there by her side. Waking up to reality, and realizing the probability that such moments would never happen again, Minho punches the pillow violently, feeling every sensation Elizabeth gave him, every feeling that warmed his heart, every word around his head like a puzzle piece for him to try to fit into all the others that she had revealed to him. The demon's frustration causes his vocal cords to release despair in the form of a strong, deafening scream. In this mixture of sensations, Minho now finds himself leaning against the pillow he had raised to comfort his back against the dark wood at the head of his bed. The boy looked around and everything seemed empty to him, all those scattered pieces of the puzzle that was Elizabeth were now starting to connect. That relationship had already crossed the limits of a colorful friendship relationship, there was no longer just a physical attraction and a friendly feeling, it was already stronger. It was already desire, it was a necessity, and the feeling was already strong, insatiable and transformed. Did they take it all too far? Was it just too late to admit more than the companion feeling of two best friends? The opposing positions they had both taken now made it impossible for anything else to develop and even to maintain what already existed. I sigh, a tired sigh of someone who has just had an internal struggle, of someone who had already grown tired of feeling any feelings. He just gives in to fatigue, lies down on the pillow on which Elizabeth lay down, and falls asleep with the smell of the girl well present in his senses.
Back in the depths of the Earth, Carrie and Elizabeth were still perplexed at the return that their lives had taken within a few hours. Elizabeth was now accompanying Carrie on this personal goal which was to discover something about the disappearance of the Lady of Evil and Hell, Eve, her mother. On the one hand, Elizabeth felt a sense of pride in following her friend on a difficult journey that would define Carrie according to their success or failure. On the other hand, the homesickness already rock Demon's heart and she feels that she left Minho completely abandoned, and this was noticed with her sudden return without saying goodbye or waiting for the others. She wanted to go back, apologize to him and cling to his trunk while listening to Minho's heart sing for her. The choice was made, the issue was no longer just one of abandoning Carrie, her pride was also at stake now, and if there was one thing Elizabeth never gave up, it was her pride. Her pride maintained the integrity of the person she was, and with him wounded, everything inside her corroded. The girl swallowed dry the force that pulled her to Earth, something stronger than gravity, something that burned in her heart without apparent explanation. The pain seemed illusory, but yet she felt as if the fabric of her heart was on fire. The sound of hurried, heavy steps awakened Elizabeth from her thoughts.
"What are you doing?" Elizabeth asks to her friend.
"I need to know what happened to my mother." Lucifer's descendant reveals.
"What? You're not going alone, I'm coming with you." The blue-haired girl gets ready to snap her fingers and go home to pick up some essencial things.
"No. You're going back to Georgia." Carrie orders her friend to come home..
"I decided to stay with you, Carrie." Elizabeth stands up against her best friend, although she feels somewhat relieved by the proposal.
"And I'm telling you you're going back. I know you're here but your heart isn't. I can't do this to you." Carrie looks deep into Elizabeth's eyes, almost as if she were looking at her soul inside her body and taking her breath away.
"And I can't leave you, after what happened, all alone in hell..." The poor defeated girl can't impose herself again in the same way.
"I'll be fine. Get your stuff and leave as soon as you can." Carrie realizes her friend's compromise, and she insists once again.
Elizabeth sighed, she knows that Carrie knows her better than anyone, and can often read her thoughts and know what she wants, "At least tell me that, if you need anything, you will call for help."
"Okay." The blonde vaguely confirms her promise, almost as if she hadn't even heard it.
"Take care..." Elizabeth waved one last time to her friend, before disappearing between sparks and reappearing back to her house.
As soon as she settles with both feet on the wooden floor, almost as if by instinct, Elizabeth rushes out of the house to the house of Minho. She had to see him again, she had to go back to his arms, to her warm shelter that was his chest. The girl ran, ran non-stop, ran without worrying about her lungs needing a slower rhythm to keep their oxygen levels on average, she ran because her rest would come when the brunette's arms wrapped her in an infinite embrace of ten or more minutes. As soon as she arrives at Minho's door, she knocks on the door and tries to rest for a while, with her hands on her knees and gasping quickly. The demon doesn't respond, she knocks again, harder this time. No answer, but Elizabeth doesn't give up after all that way. Finally, Minho opens the door, with her eyes almost completely closed due to the intense afternoon sunshine beating on them, but they quickly become enraptured to see the female figure in front of her. There were so many questions in the demon's head at that moment, and one of them was whether he was really awake.
"Minho, I'm so sorry..." Elizabeth apologizes right away.
"What are you doing here?" Minho asks his first question after what happened in hell.
"I needed to be with you..." Elizabeth confesses, getting closer to the boy.
"You didn't need me, back in Hell." Minho responds in a harsh and dry way.
"I couldn't leave Carrie alone..." The blue-haired girl tries to explain the reason for her choice.
"Instead, you could leave me alone, that sound just about right." Minho's still upset with Elizabeth left him alone behind.
"She is going through a lot. She just found out her mom can be dead, that Chan is her brother and has to destroy the world, broke up with Felix... Try to understand I couldn't leave her alone..." Elizabeth explains why Carrie needed your support.
"We are living some unstable times between us, with the scene that Felix did, and instead of coming back for us, you looked like you just ran away." Minho compares their relationship, putting Elizabeth on an equal stage in each problem.
"You all turned your back on her." The demon's trying to defend her best friend.
"She agreed with the desire of Lucifer destroying everything about our lives that we so much love, do you think I would stand by her side while watching her destroy everything and end our privilege of living here?!" Minho raises his voice.
"It's not like she had a choice." Elizabeth knows that Carrie couldn't object to Lucifer in any way.
"You had." Minho highlights how he was left behind, with tears falling from his eyes, but wiping quickly for the blue-haired demon not to notice.
"Minho..." Elizabeth loses her words with the image of the broken boy in front of her.
"Anything else?" Minho tries to end the conversation.
"I love you."
