The night was calm and silent. The sea waves arrived at low tide as they reflected the moonlight of the full moon as if it were a spotlight that gave prominence to the salty waters. Most of the friends, tired of the quiet but fun night, were already sleeping on their towels. Jisung shared his with Minho, Changbin with Seungmin, Yejun with Hyunjin, Jeongin slept with the blue-haired girl in his arms, but Chan and Felix remained awake, while Carrie slept behind Felix covered in his t-shirt. The two boys still ate marshmallows with the rest of the flame that remained from the fire. The two boys were quiet, perhaps because of the story Robin told shortly before falling asleep about her father losing his wings because he was accused of burning the All Saints Episcopal Church on Tybee Island. Felix looked at the flames and could see the burden that ended up getting rid of him when Edward was accused of doing so. Chan notices in the disturbance of his best friend, as if he could read his thoughts.
"Is it weighing on your mind?"
"How ironic would it be if I said 'as Hell'?" Felix tries to play with the situation to make it lighter, but his forced laughter shows the weight the boy had on his conscience.
"We should admit it to him." Chan suggests, since it's been so long and nothing would change now.
"And getting all the Angels to kill me?!" Felix is startled by his friend's proposal, completely rejecting it.
"No one will know about our conversation with him." Chan assures the friend that there will be privacy, encouraging him to put an end to it.
"Fine... But how will Robin react to it?" Felix puts the position of his friend's girlfriend on the line.
"No one will know about it." Chan repeats himself again, pointing out that no one but those involved would know about it, "Tomorrow by the morning, we'll go there."
"Got it, we should rest now." Felix takes a deep breath, trying to think positively, and suggests that they sleep so that they wake up earlier than everyone else.
And so they went, they still lay down with the fire burning the last firewood they had until the flame was extinguished and the boys fell asleep. The first light of dawn hits the eyes of the boys who had a duty to do. They wake up without delay and pull themselves together, becoming minimally presentable to visit Robin's father. The boys abandon their friends in their dreams and go for coffee nearby. They order their usual coffees and two cookies for breakfast. Felix prepares himself mentally to deal with the feeling of guilt and possible criticism of the innocent wronged. After Chan finishes and Felix postpones the inevitable, they finally leave the establishment and walk on the sidewalk, towards the house near the beach of the old Angel. As soon as they reach the door of Edward's house, Felix's heart stops. He felt sorry for being there, but there was no turning back. Chan rings the bell and both are received by the man in question. His lack of wings is almost camouflaged by the powerful and pure aura of Angel, who arcs his eyebrows, confused to see the two boys.
"Good morning, Mr. Edward, I'm Chan and this is Felix. We are friends with Robin." Chan introduces himself and his friend to Angel, who is enlightened in his mind even though he sees the black wings of both, "We wanted to talk with you about a serious matter."
"Is Robin okay?!" Edward panics, thinking it was something with his daughter.
"She's okay, she's at the beach with other friends. We wanted to talk about the All Saints Epispocal Church." Chan soothes the man and touches directly on the target subject.
