"How exactly did you know they were following us?!" Chiron dove to his left, a rock sailing by his head.

"Mana." Analize was surrounded by a circle of blue flame, an ice bolt hit it and dissolved into nothingness.

"Yeah but...Winter couldn't even..."

SHUT IT.

The fox ran ahead, freezing the ground where she ran, slaloming between the crowd in front of her. Luckily enough, the mountainside they where on was high enough there was moisture on the rocks from the thinner atmosphere. She skidded behind the men, leaving a trail of frozen blue rock.

"Blaze, it's ready." Chiron signalled for the salamander to join the fight. "Analize, keep the guys behind us occupied."

"I would of done that WITHOUT you asking." She pushed her arms forward, manipulating her flame shield into a wall in front of her. She willed it towards the hooded figures. They backed off a few steps.

Blaze waddled to Chirons side.

What must I do, Sir?

"Sir? Hey frosty ass, you could learn a thing or two from him."

Never.

Winter jumped up on a rock away from the fight, she cloaked her fur in a glistening ice cloak that manipulated the light enough to refract it in a way that made her disappeared from sight.

"Could you blow up that rock?" Chiron pointed at the wall next to the attacking force of men. They where readying a second barrage of spells.

My pleasure.

A disgusting gargling noise came from the salamander.

"Thats...pretty nasty." Chiron checked on Analize, she'd managed to push back the men behind them around twenty feet.

So is your face but I don't say anything.

"I think you'll find that was YOUR FAULT."

Blaze threw up whatever he was digesting. A small rock about the size of a fist shot out of his mouth, impacting the rock next to the men.

They managed to get their attack off.

Chiron raised his arm, manipulating the moisture beneath his feet, a small geyser of liquid shot up, he froze it where it stood, creating an ice pillar. "Good job these guys didn't bring a fire mage...."

Chiron looked by his barricade, the rock that Blaze hit had managed to create a water filled haze around them from the condensation from the explosion. He could use that, just as he planned. He focused his power. He made a fist. He fixated his eyes on the dense air.

He pushed his fist out and opened his hand wide. His power flowed out of him.

"What...?" One if the attacking mages said.

The mist had started to freeze, becoming dense.

"Go help Analize, I've got this." Chiron nodded. Blaze agreed and ran off. "Winter?! How'd it go?!"

The fox jumped down from above, shedding her icicle cloak.

Good enough.

The plan he came up with was to get Winter close enough to the attackers she could use her freezing powers to coat the inside of the cliff face rocks with ice. Assuming the rocks where porous enough, it should work and he could collapse it beneath them.

He snapped his fingers on his right hand.

Nothing happened.

You're an idiot. Winter sighed.
