Chan's POV
"So let me get this straight. Appa thinks Sam and I are watching Hoshi hyung, Wonwoo hyung is at the library, Mingyu hyung is playing basketball, BooSeokSoon hyungs are working on a project, Hansol hyung and Jun hyung are writing essays, Shua hyung is helping Minghao hyung with photography club, and Jeonghan hyung is working. None of which is true?" They all nodded and I shook my head with a sigh. I hate lying to Appa. Absolutely hate it.
"What are we going to do during the talent show?" Sam questioned, and a number of ideas were thrown around all at once.
"Why don't we figure it out later so we can get started?" Hoshi hyung suggested loudly to gain our attention, and they all shut up.
"Here's how this is going to go. Another teacher let us borrow their room, so I'm going to take everyone one at a time so I can get this song recorded. That way we can listen to the words while dancing." Jihoon hyung instructed, and then Hoshi hyung took over.
"While he's doing that, I'll be playing around with positions while teaching you the dance. If anyone wants to provide any input, feel free to do so."
"I'm going in age order, so Jeonghan hyung first." Jeonghan hyung and Jihoon hyung left the room. Hoshi hyung stood in front of us all and tried to picture a few things in his mind.
"Everyone spread out first wherever you want." He ran through a few more things in his mind as we waited patiently for him to give us directions.
"Okay, Hansol hyung needs to be here." Hoshi hyung ran over and pointed to a spot on the floor before going to see where everyone else was.
"Jeonghan hyung can fill in that hole there, and Jihoon will have to be on that side. Everyone shouldn't be facing forward. Change it up a bit. Yeah, like that." I have a feeling this is going to take a long while just to get the positions down.
...
"Dino, your turn." I smiled since Jihoon hyung actually remembered unlike everyone else, and I ran over to him from my current position. I only roughly knew what I was singing, so I only could hope this would go okay.
"You remembered, hyung."
"Remembered what?" He pointed to a classroom a few feet away, and we turned into it.
"The name Dino. You remembered it." He just shrugged and pointed to a chair in front of a snowball microphone he obviously borrowed from the school library.
"Your lines are everything in pink." He handed me over his notebook with colors scribbled all over it, and I read them over.
"Oh okay, this isn't too bad. How do I sing it?" Jihoon hyung held up a finger for me to wait and he poked around on his computer for a second. The background music started playing, and my hyung's voices could be heard on top of it. It's amazing how fast he had worked. Their voices paused for a second and then picked back up again. Jihoon hyung then paused it and rewinded.
"That's your part right there. The first one." He then sang it once for me so I knew how it was supposed to sound, and I ran through it without the music a couple of times.
"You ready to start recording?" I nodded and he started the music.
I didn't think I took too long by the time I was done. I did have to do little bits over again after a bit of guidance, but the whole song sounded amazing.
"Just Samuel left now since Hoshi hyung and I did our parts yesterday to test it out." He sighed and ran a hand through his hair.
"Could you bring him here actually? I don't feel like getting up." I nodded and was about to leave the room when I realized I hadn't asked the question I had been meaning to ask.
"Hyung?"
"Yes, Chan?" He barely even looked up from his screen where he was editing to look at me.
"What's the title of the song?" He paused for a second in his work to actually look me in the eyes.
"Don't wanna cry."
