Stepping out of the training deck, you slowly stagger your way to the collection of benches only to make it halfway before collapsing onto the floor in exhaustion. Your rifle fell loudly onto the floor next to you with a thud. Your legs were shaking and your lips dry from all the times you had licked them during the fight. You were not usually the one to sweat, you had been in countless exhausting situations but you never sweated. But today seemed to be a different story.

Your partner, however, was in much different shape... Jimin looked fine. He walked out of the duelling simulation without breaking a sweat. Whilst you were on the floor struggling to catch your breath Jimin had kindly placed your rifle in its case and put away his fan. Now you knew why the seven of them were so special, they were on an entirely different level.

"I thought we were taking it easy." You breathed out which earned a chuckle from Taeyong.

"It seems the Director had different plans."

The sight of your tied state made Jimin snicker so he reached over and handed you a water bottle. "Here." You nodded your head as thanks before bringing yourself to a sitting position. Jin and Jungkook were next to duel and you wouldn't dare miss it. Jimin too was eager to watch the match and hastily returned to plop himself onto the floor next to you.

After taking two large gulps of water you turned to the elder. "So by 'you could say that' you meant one of the seven?" You eyed him curiously, awaiting his response. You didn't quite understand why he didn't just tell you he was one of the seven back when you met at the library. It wasn't a big secret anymore considering everything that has unfolded in the past few days.

"Yeee...I'm not really a fan of broadcasting it." He replied before taking another sip from his bottle.

His statement only increased your confused state. Jimin really sure was something; he was kind, humble, rude, mysterious...the list goes on. You really couldn't figure him out no matter how hard you tried. As an operative, you were taught to profile people, to figure out what makes them tick. If you could figure out a component during a fight it would put you at a great advantage. But no matter how hard you tried you couldn't figure him out. It was like he was having an inner battle with how he wanted to present himself.

"And why is that?" You ask whilst tilting your head to one side.

"It's all people see. Once you introduce your rank amongst the agency the latter will either praise or shun you." Now you understood why. In fact, you felt slightly disgusted with yourself for trying to profile him in the first place. He was right, as soon as you introduced yourself as a champion the latter would immediately begin to suck up to you. If Zel introduced herself as a trainee she would be looked down upon. It reminded you of how Taehyung treated Zel on the battlefield. Now suddenly, you knew exactly how she felt. Jimin perplexed you and it made you want to learn more about him. It seems there was then meets the eye with him.
