She's wearing glasses now. I hate that they tell her she's gone "full nerd" because; 1) That's stereotypical, just because a person wears glasses and has braces that doesn't make them automatically a nerd and, 2) That's just rude because they weren't even close and they call her names.
I am guilty of teasing her once about the braces thing, long before she got her glasses, but I don't rub it in like "Hey Jill you look like a nerd". Not that I have any problem with nerds.
I don't even know why I'm ranting when she said it's alright to her. It shouldn't be. I can tell she's annoyed, her eyebrows furrows whenever someone she's not even close to tells her about it but she just smiles it off.
Why is this girl just too nice?
She should just tell them that she doesn't like being call a nerd. She has a name. There are other people much nerdier than her yet she gains the title, that's bullsht.
I could tell them off.
But I don't know how. I've never told off people before, not even those who once bullied me.
Pathetic. I can't even defend myself what more if I tried to stand up for someone else.
