The weekend passed swiftly, and soon came work. The whole weekend, Lafayette couldn't keep his mind off of one particular man.

The thoughts that ran through his head make him blush, as he sat at his desk. The atmosphere was there once more, the two working in silence.

Soon they developed a routine. Lafayette got to work at 8, grabbing coffee on his way up. There were meetings, and working until noon. Lafayette picked up two meals from the cafeteria for lunch, and went back to silence.

Lafayette kept thinking back to that Saturday night. The way his hands felt, relaxing him. He would've never thought that the cold business man before him could be so gentle.

"Mr. Lafayette, could you come here a second," Washington said, startling the man.

They rarely talked, but Laf knew he was a busy man and probably had no time for him.

He hurried to Washington's desk, peering at him beneath his lashes. "Yes sir," he breathed out.

George looked at his with a raised eyebrow. Suddenly, he patted his lap. Lafayette stood in silence, wondering what was happening.

Then it dawned on him. He wanted Lafayette to sit on his lap.
