When they got back to George Washington's place, they spent most of the evening unpacking Lafayette's things in a spare bedroom.
"So, are you hungry?" George asked, once everything was done. Lafayette looked to the man, but his stomach said it all, making a blush cover his cheeks. George chuckled, leaving the room.
Lafayette sighed, wishing he could be less awkward. He skipped to the kitchen, seeing George on the phone. As soon as he hung up, he looked to the man before him.
"I ordered Chinese, if that's alright," he said, taking Lafayette's soft hand in his. George couldn't believe he was here with this breathtaking man.
The rest of their Sunday was spent laughing over the Chinese takeout.
Lafayette sighed, not wishing for anything else in the world except for this.
