Proving herself as a showjumper

At home

After the lovely meal we sat and chatted before Nicola and I decided to go home, when we got home I sent the videos to Kent, Nicola watched some Tv while I went and took a nice warm shower, I washed my body,hair and changed into some comfy PJ,s, and braided my hair and went downstairs to watch tv with Nicola. While we were watching tv my phone made a noise that i had specific for when my brother texted, he didn't know that, I picked up my phone to see my brothers messages.

K- He seems a nice horse, great jumper and mover. 

M-Yeah, he really easy going.

K-have you thought about riding Harley.

M- yeah, I want to talk to Nicola since that's his horse, he trained and I don't want to hurt him.

K-yeah, I understand, I got an email today about a couple of horses we have been offered I forward you the email later.

M-Great, I will look at it 

K-talk later, I got horses still to ride.

M-okay, speak later 

I put my phone down to see Nicola still watching Tv, I knew I had to tell Nicola about Harley and soon so I decided to tell him tonight or tomorrow. While I was off in my own world thinking about life and Nicola turned to me.

N-hey, you okay?

M-yeah, just thinking.

 N-everything okay?

M - Yeah, just horse and that.

N-do you like Bisquet?

M-Yeah, he's great but I need to speak to about something.

N-what is it?

M-two weeks ago Bertram asked my brother if Kent or I wanted to buy Harley since it hasn't worked out well for them,

I could see he was shocked, I knew he loved that horse and losing him was hard to lose him.

M- it's okay if you don't like the idea, I wanted to speak about it.

N- no it's fine, Harley was sold almost 2 years ago, I miss him but I want the best for Harley and You and he could be great together.

M-you sure? i know you loved him.

N-Yeah, you have to lose to gain something. Have you tried him yet?

M-yeah, he's been at my brother's barn since Miami, that's why i didn't take you to the barn.

N- And did you like him/

M-Yeah, he's a great horse, no idea why Bertram would think of selling him?  

N- if you like him to go for it, don't let me stop you and you lost 4 horses, this year is your last year with two others.

M-You sure with okay with it?

N- everyone rides each other's horses in this sport.

M- I know, I just never ridden someone else's horse that I know the person.

Nicola gave me a hug and kiss me on the forehead and we went back to watching tv.
