The last thing I remember was cantering towards the ninth jump, Angel was perfect but the next thing I knew,I was on the floor, I could see but I could not hear anything, also I was unable to move. Then medics, kent, Nivola, Olivier and many offer people were around me, I felt my eyes getting heavy I could tell, everyone was trying to keep me awake but I couldn't.
Then I woke up in a hospital bed, all I could feel was pan even trying to move my neck, my brother was sitting beside the bed, on a chair he noticed that I was awake.
K-Hey, relax I call the doctor.
Soon the doctor came in with some nurses, they did some tests, I was informed that I had broken two ribs and bruised another six ribs, I also injured my right ankle, also my back and neck but nothing serious, I had been in a coma for a few days, once the doctor was done my brother was allowed back into my room.
K-you feeling better?
M-I felt better before the fall.
K-I would have guessed that.
M-Is Angel ok?
K-Yeah, Nicola rode her and she's fine.
M-Where's Nicola?
K-At the hotel, I called him don't worry.
After a couple of days spent in the hospital,I was allowed out of the hospital, spruce meadows were still continuing once Nicola knew I was okay, he decided to do some classes,I had a boot on my right leg but I still wanted to see the horses and the show,I was in pain but was going to push through the pain.
N-you sure you want to come?
M-yes, I can't stand around and do nothing.
N-whatever you say.
