its 6 am, its time for me to get ready to travel to Miami, I got dressed into some comfortable casual clothes as its about 3-hour drive, I got all bags put them in my car and drove to the barn.
When I got there my groom was already there so we put our bags in the truck and then went get the horses we got Cody and Iconic out there stalls and put they shipping boots and coolers on and we change they halters and packed their everyday halters into the truck .Once the horses were all prepared my groom drove the horse truck to the barn door so the horses could get on easier. Cody got on no problem and started eating his hay right away, iconic is a bit more scared when getting on the truck but he got on and chilled out then started eating his hay then I and my groom got in and started to drive to Miami
ARRIVING IN MIAMI
When we got they most riders were there as most had been competing in Mexico the week before, We were directed to where my horses were going to be stabled me and my groom unloaded the horses. Cody had been to so many competition now he was chilled, Iconic hadn't t been to many before so everything was new to him, he was a bit spooky but not too bad
we walked to the barn and saw the only empty stalls that had my name on them, we put the two boys in their stalls, I noticed all the stalls beside mine had h&m everywhere so I knew what 4 riders I was shaving a barn with, I knew the philippaerts since they were good friends with my brother. Their horses were stabled to my right and to my left was Malin and Peder They were all nice riders so I wasn't worried then me and my groom went to unload my tack trunks and locker
We got everything organized, the horses feed and gave them water, once everything was done me and groom walked to the hotel to check in we were sharing a room as we always did at competitions so we headed over to the hotel together .
