BBC Ghosts Thomas : I'd Die For You

Chapter 2

Kina woke up in the hospital with a headache like she had been hit over the head with a sledgehammer. She blinked her eyes a couple of times and looked around the bright hospital ward. Kina could hear the faint crying of a girl Luna she sat up slowly trying not to be in even more pain. Luna's head shot up her eyes filled with tears of sorrow and streams that had dried on her reddened cheeks.

"K-Kina?"

"Hey Luni why are you crying ?"

She laughs with tears in her eyes "Seriously Kina I thought you were dead when that shelf fell on you I'm so sorry if I hadn't scared you so bad you wouldn't be here I'm so sorry -

"Hey hey Luni it's aight don't worry I'm alive aren't I and it wasn't your fault just help me get out of this horrible gown and back home"
Luna looked at Kina seriously and shook her head replying "No you've just had a 1-ton shelf fall on you Kina you need to rest"

"SCREW THAT!" Kina jumped out of bed and threw on some jeans and a t-shirt and ran out of the hospital with Luna chasing after her shouting.

~Back at Button Hall~

"SHE'S DEAD OH GOD SHE'S DEAD" Thomas wailed in the main room with other ghosts sitting around sadly. Kitty cried silently as Pat comforted her. Captain stood with a determined look on his face "No. She isn't dead. We haven't known them long but that girl looks like a warrior to me. She'll make it through it" The others agreed and cheered up a bit. Suddenly the door went and in came a bruised and deflated Kina with a worrying Luna, Kina stopped in her tracks staring at a bunch of random people.

"Umm Luna you didn't tell me we had guests"

Luna shouted back hanging up the coats "I don't know what you're on about?"
"The people there" she pointed at the ghosts who all had shocked expressions.

Julian whispered to Captain "Do you think she can see us?"
Captain rolled his eyes "Well no Julian she was pointing at the other group of dead people behind us" Kitty turned around before realising the Captain was joking. They all stared at Kina who was shaking, Luna walked in to see an empty room and a terrified-looking sister.

"Kina, what's up?"

"They're speaking the people"

"Kina there's no one there apart from you and me"

"THERE'S A GROUP RIGHT THERE AND THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT ME WHY DO NOT BELIEVE ME?"

"I-i don't know what you're on about "

"THE PEOPLE LUNI THE FUCKING DEAD PEOPLE!"

Luna walked away slowly still keeping eye contact with Kina who was now hysterical and crying.

Kina sniffled," You think I'm crazy don't you?"

Luna ran slamming the door shut, Kina ran to chase after her bellowing her name but her sister had gotten to the car too soon.

Kina was left alone...with them.

She sat down and cried. Why her? Why just her? If only she hadn't smacked into that shelf.

"Should we say hi or no?" Whispered Pat cautiously to Julian. The Captain heard this and spoke up "Young lady! Young lady I say don't wail"
Kina looked up wiping her tears, she saw them all from what she assumed to be a caveman to a burnt lady.

The captain stared at her, his stick held firmly in position under his armpit. Kina replied "Just leave me alone my sister already thinks I'm crazy-

Thomas cut in loudly "I think you are beautiful!" Kina lent back in confusion before continuing "Okkkk" She dragged to the dark-haired poet. "Look, you're all in my head"
Mary spoke up "we's ares nots in heads of you miss we's are not devil's we's are just the dead livers"

"Dead livers" Kina questioned.
Pat answered" Mary means we are Ghosts and we are real just as you are and I know this is hard to get your head around umm no offense Humphrey, 
Kina turned to see a headless man replying 'no worries Pat' and turned to back to Pat continuing "But we don't want any trouble honestly"

Julian spoke up "Well a bit of trouble didn't hurt anyone if you know what I mean" his crude joke made the others roll their eyes and Kina scared.

"Anywhom I'm going to introduce to everyone", he pointed at an old Edwardian-fashioned lady "This is Fanny or Lady Button" Kina waved.
"A LADY DOES NOT WAVE SHE COURTESY!" The captain carried on with his introduction "This is Julian" He turned to the crude man from before and only now did Kina realize he had no pants "Umm what's with the going commando scene down there?" She questioned "Oh sex scandal death you know how it is" Julian easily answered. Kina nodded slowly.

"This is Robin, Mary, and Kitty" a caveman, a burnt middle ages peasant, and a smartly dressed Georgian lady with a frilly dress who didn't stop smiling"

"This is Pat or Patrick" The scout leader smiled and waved, Kina returned the kind gesture and they exchanged 'hello's'. The Captain turned and pointed at Thomas who had his eyes fixed on Kina.

"And this is Thomas"

Thomas walked up to Kina and spoke, "May I just say you are the definition of stunning"

"Umm thanks" Kina replied awkwardly.  'he's cute' she thought,he was a bit older than her if you're not counting the death years. He smiled and then got pulled back by Captain and Pat.

Captain spoke once again" I'm Captain by the way"

"What your birth name is Captain?" Kina curiously asked.

"Well no but Captain will do"

"Oh ok," she whispered.

She stood brushing herself off and spoke once again "Well then it's nice to meet you all my name is Kina Fowler I'm 19 and I live with my older sister Luna who has just so happened to have done a runner but we've just inherited this house and yeah" they all smiled.

Until Humphrey's head fell off making them all jump. Kina said startled "I guess I'm going to have to get used to that"
