"Right the thing is Thomas my good friend, I need to tell you something about Kina... I think I've found out her killer"
Thomas's eyes widened in disbelief, thoughts of varied degree flew round in his mind. How will she react? Can we find the killer? Even if we find them how do we capture them or get the authorities involved we're ghosts?...
"Listen I'm only 40% sure it is this person but I need you to promise you won't tell Kina just yet I need more time good man I need evidence and I can't get that just yet so please this is just between you and me"
Thomas shook himself out of his daze quickly and nodded before asking "but who is this one you are slightly sure of ? Do we know them?"
"I can't say just yet my good man the time will come and I will reveal if I am sure..." Captain paused his eyes slowly looking sadder with every second of silence. He let out a shaky breath of unease before continuing quietly, "but my god I hope I am not"
To anyone else that could of meant he still didn't like the fact Kina had been killed but to Thomas it meant something entirely different, almost as if the Captain was scared at his discovery of the who instead of the what.
"Right anyway better get back to the other young man they'll be wondering where you are"
Thomas nodded and started heading back but he stopped and turned back in the direction of the Captain giving him a look of solicitude then asked "she's going to be ok right?"
Captain looked to the ground and nodded "We will make sure no one hurts her again"
With that Thomas left.
~Before then~
"What do you think he wants to tell Thomas?" Kina asked Julian, the politician shrugged in response.
The others had gone off by now by that I mean Fanny had chased Robin because he stole her necklace, Pat and Kitty had gone to the garden as Pat said he would teach her about the different types of flowers and weeds.
It was just her and Julian.
"So are you feeling better after having some time to yourself ?" Julian asked in a concerned manner. Kina nodded slowly and sat down in the main living room curling up on the sofa.
He sat down next to the short girl and casually placed his arm around her, Kina cuddled into his navy jacket.
She always saw Julian as a funny older brother he managed to make her laugh no matter what even when he did try to flirt with her constantly she still loved him. Kina knew what he was doing but she didn't mind cuddling him as long as he didn't take it too far but little did she know someone was watching them from the other side of the room.
"You know if you weren't such a fuckboy you might not have been killed" Kina stated out of the blue making Julian shoot a shocked look at the brunette.
"So I'm a fuckboy to you am I?" He questioned, Kina giggled nodding.
"Wow I'm so offended I thought you were my friend!" The horny politician clutched his heart dramatically pretending to be hurt.
Kina laughed pushing him gently resulting in him giving her a slight smirk before pushing her back.
This meant war.
Kina jumped up quickly running away from him laughing and smiling, down the corridor there was a large cabinet about the size of a wardrobe she walked through the double oak doors and stood still holding her breath not that she had to anyway being dead and all.
Ha he'll never find me in her-
"You need to find a better hiding place shorty" Well crap she thought to herself.
"Was it that obvious?" Julian chuckled nodding.
She smiled before turning it into a frown "who you calling shorty?"
"You've literally called me way worse what are you on about"
Kina shrugged agree she had called him worse more than once aswell.
They got out of the cupboard and went to meet with others, when they arrived and started chatting to everyone, Kina went over to Thomas who had a sour look on his face as if someone had insulted one of his poems.
"Hey frilly cuffs what's up?"
"The sky don't ask such idiotic questions" he huffed angrily and turned away from her quickly.
Kina rose her eyebrows in shock he'd never been like this to her before she had obviously done something to piss him off she just had to find out what exactly because she was completely oblivious.
"What's wrong with you?" She leaned on his shoulder only for him to pull away making her whole body jerk forward and fall through the wooden table he was currently leaning on.
She got up hastily and dusted herself off glaring at the young dandy who didn't seem in the slightest bit bothered.
"What the hell is wrong with you if I've done something tell me don't be so petty"
He sneered in a salty manner and then replied "I don't know what petty means so I can't be that" Kina rolled her eyes at his child like behaviour she loved this man but my god he could a childish brat when he wanted to be.
"Your literally proving my point you idiot"

That ticked him off badly he stood up and gave a her a scowl before shouting "Do not call me a idiot y-you you..." he paused angrily breathing heavily.
Kina's eyes narrowed, she leant back crossing her arms and said calmly "no please finish your sentence enlighten me on what you were going to say"
"And why should I?" He questioned turning away from the short girl.
"Because your acting like a child Thomas if I done something to offend then tell me for gods sake don't keep hiding it"
"No"
"Oh my god your being so pathetic!"
"WELL AT LEAST I'M NOT A WHORE!"
