The next day at school, both boys felt something was off right as they stepped into the building. The air felt thicker, pregnant with a weird tension that couldn't mean something good. It didn't seem like anyone else noticed, though. That was until Taeyong changed seats with Kun before their second shared period so that he was sitting behind Ten. He silently passed him a note.

- Something feels weird today. It's kind of like, I don't know, somebody is watching us. The others are feeling it as well. Do you know what it is? - Taeyong -

- I don't know, but it definitely feels strange. Johnny and I are getting a headache from this. We haven't felt anything like that before. You're right, though, we do feel watched. - Ten -

Taeyong was about to reply as the door to the classroom banged open. Everyone turned their head to the noise, but they all definitely didn't expect to be greeted by dangerous-looking people. To everyone else, they would have looked like Secret Service agents or something, but to Johnny, Taeyong, Kun, Sicheng and Ten, they looked different.

Hunters.

There were three of them in total, all broad and tall, in black suits and armed with different weapons. One of them had a gun, but not a normal one, it was a special gun to kill supernaturals. Another one had a sword longer than his already long arm, and the last one had a whiplash. Every supernatural in the room knew they were in danger, whereas the humans just looked frightened to the moon and back.

The hunter with the sword spoke up: "If all the supernaturals come here right now, the rest of you will not be harmed in any way. If not.." he trailed off, nodding to the hunter with the whiplash, who sprinted forward and held the nearest student in a chokehold, a guy named Yuta. Yuta was humanas far as they knew, and even the hunters seemed to be able to sense that.

"He will not leave this room," the first hunter continued, smirking evilly. "Now come out, or do you want this innocent human to die?"

The three vampires in the room exchanged wary looks with the two warlocks, all thinking of a plan to save both Yuta and themselves. Then, another guy named Jungwoo spoke up: "What do you mean by "supernaturals"? These don't exist," he said.

The hunter with the gun just laughed. "Of course they do, and they're living with you, you just don't notice. Look at him," he exclaimed, pointing the gun at Sicheng. "He's a vampire."

Now, the five guys were even more alarmed. Was it really that obvious who of them wasn't human?

"Come on, don't play dumb, we know what you are. You two as well," he pointed out, aiming the gun at both Kun and Taeyong. "Let's not forget about the warlocks, though," the sword guy added, grinning at Ten and Johnny.

"We've already got you cornered, what do you want to do? Try to fight us?" the man holding Yuta said. Yuta was begging with his eyes for freedom, looking at the guys who just got called supernaturals, hoping for them to help him.

Slowly, Ten stood up. "How should we know that you wouldn't hurt him even if we surrendered?" he asked. The hunters just laughed. "We can't guarantee anything, warlock," whiplash guy said, spitting the last word out like it was poisonous.

"My patience is running low. I'll count to five, and if all of you aren't here by then, he will die," gun guy exclaimed, starting to count.

"One," nobody moved.

"Two," they glanced at one another.

"Three," Kun and Johnny stood up.

"Four," a loud cracking noise was heard.

"You won't kill anyone under my watch."
