The After School Hexer

I was in the stall when I felt a great deal of power surge through me. My eyes turned demon and my horns popped out of my head. I jumped up with my demon power and busted right through the ceiling. I ran using my demon speed until I came across Mai who was crawling into a sewer. 'Mai! what the Hell!' I thought urgently as I jumped the fence and ran toward her. My horns went back into my head but my eyes stayed glowing in demon form. I saw something grab Mai's ankle and I dived into the sewer, taking the death spirit with me. I landed with a hard thud but was on my feet. I stood up and saw that it was gone. "Mai!" screamed Naru as he grabbed her hand. He told her to put her foot on the ladder but it broke and they both came tumbling down. I caught Mai and helped Naru by using my wind power to help him float down. He landed and sat on the wall and I set down Mai. "Emmy! thank god! I heard a loud thump and thought you were hurt!" said Mai as she engulfed me in a hug. I hugged back but I still had this strange feeling that we were in danger. I felt tired so a day next to Naru and he quickly started to check me for injuries. My eyes kept glowing and my vampire teeth grew sharp. "You seem to be fine, are you feeling any pain?" he questioned worriedly. I pointed to my ankle and he quickly took off my left shoe. I winced and he examined the swollen ankle. "i think it's broken" he said and I nodded in agreement as pain went through my foot. I leaned my head against the wall and he grabbed my hand. "You'll be fine. Just try and ignore the pain" he whispered and Mai quickly sat beside me. "Hey who was that boy that was at base? He looked a lot like you" I sighed and I couldn't answer her. I decided that I didn't care if I was dragged into hell, I'm already going there anyway. I took a deep breath.

"My brother"

She stared in amazement and tears pooled in my eyes. "When I had hit my head I was brought to hell to talk to the great ruler. I said I wouldn't except my responsibilities as a Demon and he made a deal with me. He would grant me one wish but I could never speak" I said as tears spilled down my face.

"Why is it so important that you didn't take the responsibility?" asked Naru as he wrapped me in a hug. "Demons are supposed to take souls, but I can't do that to anyone. So I took the deal" I took deep breath. "I wished to see my twin brother again. I HAVNT seen him for 2 years and I just needed to see him"

"What happened to him?"

Asked Mai as I leaned into Naru's chest. "He committed suicide" I said as my ankle throbbed. She stared at me in sorrow and put a comforting hand on my shoulder "I'm sorry" she said and I smiled and shrugged. "Don't, demons aren't even supposed to have feelings. But I guess that changed when I met you Mai" she beamed and I felt something. I growled and looked at a spot in the sewer where a spirit came down. It looked at Naru and I lunged at it. It tossed me aside like a rag doll but I didn't give up. I finally scared it away but it had really taken its toll on me. Naru picked me up bridal style and a light flashed down the sewer. "Naru are you down there?" called Lyn and I smiled softly. "We're saved" said Mai softly.
