Forbidden Pastime

I opened my eyes slowly as people talked in the background. "Are you sure?" "yes now please leave" said a familiar voice and a door closed. Foot steps walked toward the bed I was in and gently shook me. "I know your awake Gorahm" said Dylan and I opened my eyes. James, Gavin and Dylan stared down at me. "Where am I ?" I asked as I looked around to see a white room. "The hospital. You 'fell' off the top of the school" said James as he put little quotation marks on the word fell. "Why?" asked Gavin as he sat next to me. I shrugged and stood up out of the bed. I was in a hospital gown and I groaned. I walked into the bathroom and changed into sweatpants and a sports bra. I walked out and put on my shoes. "Let's go" I said and they nodded I walked outside and saw the SPR team leaning against the wall. I walked past them and they stared in amazement. I looked at Masako. "You shouldn't have brought me here" I said to her and Mink quickly defended her. "If she didn't tell us you could have died" he said as he stood straight. I started laughing. They stared in confusion and I smiled. "I couldn't even if I tried!" I said and started laughing like a maniac. Naru walked toward me and I kept laughing. He stopped when James held up his hand. James bent down and whispered in my ear, "hikskatikon" I froze as a pain fled threw my body. I fell forward and Naru caught me. I felt like my back and head were on fire and I was trying to stop it. "Hold her still! " said Gavin as the three of them cornered me. Naru held me with one hand around my waist and the other held my hands behind my back. "Hita aki Nani" they started chanting and the pain increased. I thrashed around but only failed as Naru kept a good hold. My head felt as if I had a giant headache and my vision was becoming fuzzy. With one last chant they touched my head and I screamed out in pain. They stepped back and before my eyes I saw what they were looking for. My memories. They are gonna try and find if anything could have caused my little accident. "Stop!" I shouted as I saw the memory of the day I had to leave home. I watched as I tried to get a better look at the men's faces. I focused hard and saw the worst thing I could ever see. Lyn. He was fighting with my father and he grabbed my father by the horns. He threw him against the wall and my mother jumped infront to protect him. James stopped the memory and I slowly back away and looked at Naru. He looked at me with a stone expression and embraced me in a hug. I couldn't cry, I couldn't speak, I just stood there unmoving as Naru hugged me. I watched Lyn move toward me and I backed away. He started again but I turned and ran. "Emelia!" he called after me but I kept running. I felt my eyes change but this time one was demon and one was angel. I felt my horns popping out of my head and my outfit change into that short white and black dress I've had since I was little. I ran at the edge of the hospital roof and my wings came out of my back. I could tell I looked terrifying and jumped over the ledge. Something grabbed my foot and I looked down to see Naru. I flapped my wings and soared threw the sky. Naru held on and he threw his arms around me so that we were now in a hugging position. He held on tight as I soared threw the sky. I finally let down and rolled on the ground as we landed. I stood up and looked around I saw Naru on the ground. "Naru!" I said and ran to him. He coughed and sat up. "Naru. Are you okay?" I said as I helped him sit up. He grabbed my arm and pulled me toward him. His lips touched mine and he didn't even dare let me move. He pulled away and stared at me. "If you ever do something that stupid again, I am going to handcuff you to a chair at base wherever we go" he said coldly and kissed me again. I nodded slightly as he continued. I finally had to push away for air and he stared at me as I panted slightly. He chuckled. "Your cute when your breathless" I blushed and he kissed my cheek and pulled me into his arms. I slowly fell asleep as he gazed at the stars through the trees in the small forest I landed in. "Your staying with me from now on" he said and I nodded. He smiled. "Good" I felt my eyes go heavy and fell into a dreamless sleep.
