Evil Spirits All Over?!

I walked toward the van and saw Naru inside. He was asleep and had his jacket over him like a blanket. I smiled at how cute he looked. I smirked and ruffled his hair and he awoke slowly. I smiled and waved at him cutely as he gave me a morning glare. 'Obviously not a morning person' I thought as I blew a stray hair off my face. He grabbed my arm and pulled me into him. He cuddled me into his chest and closed his eyes. "Naru! What the Hell!" I said as I struggled to get out of his grip. "I'm still tired" he said as he held me tighter. "Naru this isn't funny! let me go!" I complained but he wouldn't let go and his breaths soon became controlled. 'damn bastard fell asleep' I thought as I gave up. Mai soon turned the corner and giggled as she saw me. 'Help me' I mouthed and she nodded. "Hey Naru what are we gonna do today?!" she shouted in his ear and he woke with a start. He held me tighter as he stared at Mai. "I already finished" he said and I gave him a shocked look. Soon everyone came and I was still trapped in Naru's embrace. He explained how it was due to subsidence and that there were no spirits. I smirked in victory as I knew there were no spirits. I finally got out of his embrace and went to help the others take down the cameras. As we were, I heard footsteps. I looked at the ceiling. There are no spirits. I kept coming up with nothing as I tried to sense anything but nothing came up. The house started to shake and knocking sounds were loud and clear. Mai ran after Karoda and I felt a strange urge to run after them. I got their just in time as I pushed Mai from a falling wooden shelving unit. It was warm as I touched it and I quickly went to Karoda and Mai. "Are you two ok?" they nodded and I went to tell Naru. He seemed very shaky as I told him and he seemed very angry. "Naru are you ok?" I asked as I walked up to him. The others were gone and it was just me and Naru in the dark outdoors. He clenched his fists and spoke angrily. "I'm so angry at myself" I put my hand on his shoulder and he tensed. I turned him around to face me and he looked down in shame. "Naru, we make mistakes" I started but he wasn't even listening. "Look Kazuya" he looked at me shocked that I used his full name. I took a step back. "Look at me. I'm not human. And I still make mistakes. Your only human. You can't help that" he smiled at me and I had an idea. I grabbed my phone and played a slow song. I grabbed his hand and he smirked. He put on hand on my waist and held my other in his. I put my other hand on his shoulder. He led as we danced to the song. I laughed as he twirled me and he laughed as I twirled him. The song ended and he hugged me. "How do you do that?" He whispered.

"Do what?"

"Help me up when I'm down"

"I guess I'm just that awesome"

He chuckled and kissed my cheek lightly. I smiled and he picked me up by my waist and lifted me straight into the air. I laughed as put me down and he laughed as well. Then, something struck in my mind. "What if Karoda is the cause for this"

"How?"

"Well she obviously wants your attention and she was faking being psychic. When we came and called her out on it, she became stressed and took drastic measures to make sure we thought there were spirits. And when she became stressed, she gave an un aware defend mechanism"

He thought about it and then roughly pressed his lips to mine. He pulled away and smiled brightly. "Your a genius!" he said and went to his computer. "Tell me something I don't know"

He laughed and we went over notes to confirm what I said is true.
