Forbidden Pastime

As Mai blabbers on, Naru explained a case at a school house where kids have been having experiences with dog. We packed up the van and I was about to get in the back with Mai but once again, Naru grabbed me and brought me to his car. I sighed in defeat and slid into the passengers seat. He smiled and sat in the drivers seat. I turned on the radio but,like always, he turned it off.

"We need to talk"

He said and I nodded in agreement.

"Look, what happened yesterday was a complete accident. I don't like Ms. Hara in that way. I only like you" he said in a serious tone and I scoffed. 'Suuuure' I thought. He sighed "I didn't want to have to say this but you still need my silence. So I would be careful how you treat your boyfriend"

I looked at him and he smirked. "You wouldn't"

I said with a glare.

"Oh but I would!"

He said in a teasing tone and I almost slapped him then and there. He smirked and turned on the radio. I smiled and he leaned over and pecked my cheek. I blushed but tried my hardest to stay strong and not turn into a full girly girl. He parked the car as we arrived and my eyes turned into there demon state.

"Something's off here"

I said as I searched frantically for sunglasses or something to cover my eyes. "What's wrong?" he asked in worry and I looked up at him. His eyes widened and he handed me a pair of dark glasses. I thanked him and put them on. I stepped out of the car and the feeling got stronger. 'There's got to be another demon' I thought as Naru grabbed my hand and walked with me into the building and I immediately felt my demon teeth pop out. The sharp vampire teeth dug into my tongue as I tried to keep my mouth shut. Naru let go of my hand and started to set up base. I stood there without moving because I thought I did, I would completely go into my true form. We had finished setting up and we're talking to the student council rep. Yasu. We then heard a scream and I was the first to run. I saw a girl against the wall with a bite wound. I looked in the classroom and saw a...... demon hound. I froze and my glasses fell off. I growled and neared my teeth at the dog and it did the same thing. My eyes flared and my teeth ached to bite and thrash. I felt my self starting to change and I was suddenly shorter. I new I was in my demon wolf state. My white fur was surrounded by blue flames and my black eye circle was surrounded by purple flames. The dog was black and had purple flames around it. I lunged at it and it lunged back. I was just about to tackle it but it disappeared 'coward' I thought as walked to the girl. I nudged her with my nose and she smiled and patted me on the head. "Thank you" she said and was lifted up by Yasu and Mai and was taken to the nurse. I walked toward John and Naru and day infront of them in a sitting position for a dog considering I'm still in my wolf form. Naru bent down and patted my head "good dog" he said as he stroked my fur. I licked his face and ran down the hallways, trying to find anything. I didn't so I went back to base. I turned back into human and collapsed on the couch. I was so exhausted from being in a state I haven't been in for years. My body ached and I felt so tired. My teeth still were sharp and my eyes refused to be normal. "Hey you okay?" asked Monk as Naru sat beside me. I nodded and Naru rested my head on his shoulder. "She just needs to rest" said Mai as I nodded in agreement. Naru wrapped his arms around me

And I fell asleep in the wariness of his arms.
