No one really knows what we do at night. People say a lot of things, apparently we do drugs, vandalize buildings, worship the devil and I've even heard mass orgy. It's honestly quite amusing to be apart of an aka pact. Okay, let's just take it all the way back to the beginning so everyone can understand. What is an aka pact? Well, it's pretty simple actually. However there is a stigma on it that leads to assumptions, which causes more problems than anyone thinks we actually do. I'm being very vague so once again..let's start over.
An "aka pact" is just a group of teens who can relate on the same things, it's like any other friendship or any other family. The only difference is that we don't use real names, ever. Obviously, the ones in your group will know because it goes by school. By this I mean that there are other groups at other schools, and over the summer is when things really pick up.
The rumors come from the way we carry ourselves. With this people just assume that we are bad kids but we're the opposite. We have each others back through anything, we stick together no matter what.
Let's talk about me. My name is Luci, It's not my real name, it's my aka name. I'm a girl, I'm 19 and I'm African American. Granted I am mixed with a few things down the line that caused my hair to look the way it does...but I just consider myself black. My skin is a toffee color and my eyes are hazel. I recently dyed my hair light brown but it is naturally dark brown. I weigh about 110 pounds and I stand at an astonishing 5'5.
Now here's the back story on how I ended up in this so called devil group. I moved to California almost 5 years ago and I was having a hard time to say the least. I wasn't fitting in with many people and it was becoming clear. That's when I met them, we were all so young back then.
~flashback~
I skipped class again, can you blame me? I'm sick of all the stares and "new girl jokes". Plus, One of the administrators took my skateboard this morning because it was a "distraction". I wasn't even riding it! So I decided to take a hiatus for the rest of the day. It was my third week and I had yet to make atleast one friend so I was going to take this trip alone.
I walked out of the side doors and made my way to the back of the school. I just kept walking until I reached the baseball field. I walked up to the gate and it gave it a shake. It was locked, so the only thing to do was to jump it. I sat my phone in the front pocket of my Kanken bag and secured both straps around my shoulders. Climbing over the top I jumped down landing steadily. I looked around a bit before making my way to the dugout. I was never one to care about sports but I could imagine sitting here waiting to go on the field, nerve wracking.
I had gotten comfortable, I had my headphones in and I was laying across the bench with my eyes closed. Being the weirdo I am I had my Juul resting on my forehead to hold down my bangs. Using one hand, I spun one of my rings around my finger.
After a while the wind picked up and I could feel my bangs flip back. "What the fuck!" I said to myself as I opened my eyes in a panic. My Juul was gone, I got up quickly looking around the area to see where it could have fallen. I know it's not heavy but there's no way in hell it could have gotten caught in the wind. "Fuck." I said under my breath while tucking a piece of hair behind my ear. I stood for a second before snatching my headphones out, I could've swore I heard-
"Looking for this?"
I turned around to see a tall figure leaning over the barrier outside of the dugout. He had brown ear length curly hair and he was white. There was a cross earring dangling from his ear and rings covering his fingers. He was wearing a white hoodie with black distressed jeans and checkered vans.
