"Wake up whores!" A raspy voice yelled while slashing open the curtains. I groaned softly pulling the cover over my head.

"Oh, I must be in another demention since y'all acting like you can't hear me." The covers were snatched off of mine and Skinny's body. We immediately reached for eachother for warmth.

My eyes met a wild haired Vee with a goofy smile on her face. I sat up against the headboard as Skinny rolled out of bed.

"Okay, but why?" She said staring at Vee through the slits of her eyes.

"Because, It's the morning..I'm kidding, we're going to breakfast..all of us..6"

I rolled my eyes and crawled out of the bed, tidying it up slightly. "This must be some kind of sick joke." I said dramatically while scratching my head.

"Do I look like a joke?" Vee asked with a serious tone.

"Yes." Skinny said flatly from the bathroom.

"I meant... do I look like i'm joking.." Vee said as she re-evaluated her previous statement.

I laughed to myself groggily, "Just give it up, VeeVee" I said, putting my palm on her shoulder as I walked into my closet.

We all got ready and headed for the door. Skinny was wearing black jeans with rips at the knee, a harley davidson long sleeve shirt and some black boots. Vee decided on a large army green flannel as a dress and white Filas. I wasn't in the mood for anything so I put on a oversized black hoodie that had the devil cupid on the back in black and white, some shorts that couldn't be seen, white Nike socks and my Doc Marten boots. I had a few silver chains on and I put on some black shades.

"I'll drive." Vee said grabbing my keys off of the bar. I grabbed my phone off the cofee table and decided I would charge it in the car.

Skinny slid into the backseat so I got in on the passenger side. I leaned my head back on the seat and tried to relax until we got to our destination.

"So..who's idea was this?" Skinny spoke from behind. "Well, Adonis called me this morning and said to round em up and meet at The cracked egg. So I did as I was told." She shrugged her shoulders as she focused on the road.

"You gonna be straight Lu?" Vee spoke again.

I opened my eyes even though they couldn't see behind my shades, "He tried to call me last night, he texted too...said he was sorry." I felt like laughing but I didn't.

"What'd you say?" Skinny asked with a almost shaky voice.

"I didn't answer.." I said letting out a deep breath.

"Fuck." Vee said, laughing with no humor. We all knew he would be in a mood because of this, but I didn't care..

We arrived and I could see a familiar car parked in front of the small diner. We walked inside and noticed Shank waving us over.

He was sat on the edge of the table while Adonis sat across from him. Mars sat against the window staring out. We walked up and Vee of course sat directly next to Adonis. While Skinny made the conscious decision to sit in between Mars and Shank. The only spot left was across from him. I stepped cautiously toward the seat pulling it out as silently as possible. He didn't even look my way.

I decided to keep my phone hidden because even though he knew I had it, it seemed like it would take the edge off of the fact that I chose not to respond. Keeping my shades on, I looked out of the window while resting my chin in the palm of my hand.

"Lu?" I looked up abruptly as I felt Vee's hand on my forearm. "What do you want to drink?"

Glancing at the waiter and then back at the menu I spoke quietly, "Iced coffee.." I gave a small smile while adjusting my glasses once again.
