Hai! Sorry I haven't updated. I honestly have not been in the mood. It's either because I'm too sleepy, crammed with too much homework, or upset about something. But this coming week is my birthday and that's really all I have to look forward to. I haven't been getting a lot of comments latley. I just want to make sure y'all are still reading. Even just typing a simple ":)" or "<3" is fine. Anything to let me know you're still reading. This is long! On to the story!

---Chris's POV---

I was going nuts without Kaitlyn. Finally, she was coming home tomorrow. It feels like I haven't seen her in a year. I couldn't wait to hold her close and kiss her endlessly.

It was just another Saturday afternoon. I played a new song on my guitar. It's about Kaitlyn, of course. It's just a song about how we need a break sometimes from this society and go into our own place. We need an escape from it all.

"I've been thinking lately, that I think too much quite frankly,

I just wanna get out of this town and find a quiet place to be,

A place where dreams do come true, a land made just for me and you,

Let's just get out of this town and find a quiet place to be.

It don't have to be too far away,

Just a simplistic trance-like getaway,

It don't have to be a place to stay,

Just a simplistic trance-like getaway,

Honey, let's just go, and let go of what we know."

That's all I have for right now. I'm actually quite proud of it. I put away my guitar, but almost peed my pants when I saw my sister, Hannah at the doorway.

"Hannah! What the hell? You scared the crap out of me!"

She giggled. "Oh, sorry. That was a really great song you were playing."

I felt embarrassed. I usually hate when people hear me play an unfinished song.

"Well can you stop creepin' up on me? Not cool."

"Whateves. You really miss Kait, don't you?" she said and sat down on my bed next to me.

I sighed. "Yeah, I do. A lot." I missed her perfect arms across my body and her soft lips against mine.

She patted my shoulder. "It's ok. You'll see her tomorrow, Remember?"

"Yeah, but I have to wait like 24 hours to see her."

"Don't worry, it'll go by quick."

No it didn't. The only thing I did was try to entertain myself. I played video games. I watched a movie. I ate some food. I played some songs. I smoked a little bit. I found myself playing video games again. Then my cell phone rang.

"Hello?"

"Hey, bro!"

It was Carter.

"Hey! Whats up!"

"Yoh wanna come play some tennis with me, Hay, and Tay?"

I finally found my source of entertainment!

"F*ck yeah, dude! I'll be over there soon!"

I grabbed my racket and tennis ball.

I ran downstairs.

"Bye, Ma!"

"Woah, where are you going?" she said and pulled me away from the door before I could leave.

"I'm gonna go play tennis with some buddies. Is that okay?"

"Sure, Sweetie. Be home by dinner time."

"Okay, Ma," I said and dashed out the door.

As soon as I hit that tennis court, my mind got off everything.

--Kaitlyn's POV---

I packed up all my things, getting ready to leave this beautiful city. I was going to miss it. The city lights, the busy streets, the perfect weather, and of course the delicious food.

"Kait, can you please throw me my dress?" Rocki asked as she opened up her bright pink suitcase and got ready to pack her stuff.

"Sure," I said and grabbed the dress for her. I held it in my hands for a few seconds. I surly wouldn't be able to find a dress this gorgeous back in Joplin. It was strapless, with a zebra print and a hot pink trim. I imagined how pretty it would look with some black tights and pink boots.

"Kait! Are you in love with it or something?"

"Oh, sorry," I said and handed her the dress after realizing I was holding it for a long time.

We packed all of our stuff. I had another bag stuffed with souviners I got for my friends and family. For mom, I got her an I Love NY coffee mug. For Sonny, I got a tote bag with all the sights in New York scripted on. And for Chris, I got a cool custom-made guitar strap. It was a deep red with yellow suns. He had seen a similar one in a music shop once, but wasn't able to afford it. So I got one for him.

Aunt Rosie came into our room.

"Girls, our flight leaves at 11:00. It's only 7:15. You still have plenty of time. Also, we need to talk."

My stomach dropped. I hated hearing the words, "we need to talk."

Me and Rocki finished packing and went to talk to Aunt Rosie. I already new what it was going to be about. Me and Rocki were terrible guests. We were too loud, we borrowed too much money, and took up too much space. Might as well apologize now...

"Aunt Rose, I'm sorry we were terrible guests. I'm sorry we were too loud and annoying, and we borrowed too much money. I promise we'll pay it back!"

"Honey, why would you think that? You girls were a pleasure to have! You don't have to pay back a penny of the money you borrowed. It's yours."

I smiled. "Thank you. So, what do you need to talk to us about?"

"Your mother and I were discussing last night about how much you two liked it here. Well, we both believe you are both mature young ladies who can make desicions for yourselves. How would you like to move here?"

I sat there, in disbelief. Of course I wanted to!

"Yes!" Rocki shouted and hugged my aunt.

"Great! You'll be here in a month!"

"Kaitlyn, you have time to think about it."

It seemed like a great opportunity. I loved it here. But I would have to leave home all my family and friends. I would have to leave Chris.

"I don't know, Aunt Rosie. I will think about it."

"Okay. You have a month."

We got our bags, and headed for the airport.

---Chris's POV---

Finally! Today's the day! My babe will be in my arms in just an hour. I drove to the airport where I promised to pick her up. I sang along to Queen as I drove.

I went inside, brought myself a coffee, and waited for the 1:00 flight to come. That's where she'll be.

After what seemed to be hours, the 1:00 flight was here! My heart thudded with excitement as I got up and saw Kaitlyn. I didnt care who was watching. I ran up to her, and wrapped her in the biggest hug ever. I pushed my lips against hers. When I pulled back, her face seemed worried.

"Chris, there's something I need to tell you."

"What is it, babe?"

"I might be moving to New York."

TO BE CONTINUED...
