---Chris's POV---
So I left Kaitlyn's house. I feel like myself again, my other half is here. Forget Natalie. I can't believe she would do that...I trusted her. She took my innocence for her pleasure. What a slut. My stomach felt funny as I approached my house. My hands shook on the steering wheel. I'm glad I didn't crash. There it was. The place I left behind. I can't believe I'm doing this! They're not going to want be back. They'll hate me. It's worth a try.
Slowly, I walked up to my porch. I was sweating and my heart was about to explode out of my chest. With a trembling hand, I reached out and knocked on the door.
The door swung open. It was answered by my younger sister, Sarah. Her eyes met mine and her whole face lit up.
"Chris! You're alive! I missed you! Please don't ever leave us again, you dork!" she exclaimed and pulled me into a huge hug.
"Missed you, Sar," I said and kissed her on the cheek.
"He's back! He's back!"
"What?" my mom said as she walked up to the doorway. I smiled and my heart felt happy as I saw her smiling face again.
"Christofer!" she said and hugged me tightly. She cried tears of joy.
"Why are you guys screaming?" my other sister, Hannah said as she approached us. Her eyes widened.
"Oh, Chris! You're back! Why did you ever leave us?"
"Yes, Chris. Why exactly did you leave?" my mom said.
I sighed. It was time to confess.
"Ma, Sarah, Hannah, I left because I dropped out of school. I felt like I was going no where with the way my life was at home, so I ran away hoping to find a better place. But I was too young and inexperienced, so I came..."
Before I could finish my sentence, I looked at my family. They had tears in their eyes.
"Honey, you should have told us you felt this way. We could have worked something out."
"I know, Ma. I screwed up big time. Just please don't kick me out!"
"I won't. But don't you ever leave like that again! We were worried sick about you!"
"I'm sorry, all of you. I love you guys." I gave each of them a hug.
Well, the first thing I did was go up to my room. It was still messy. Then I took a shower. Yeah, it felt pretty nice after not showering in a week. Gross.
I was playing video games when there was a knock on my window. I paused the game to see who it was.
---Kaitlyn's POV---
I looked at myself in the mirror. You can do it, Kaitlyn. I silently encouraged myself. My stomach twisted everytime I thought about it. This is it. I'm going to do it. I'm going to Chris's house to tell hime how I truly feel.
I walked down the street and I felt like I was going to vomit by the time I reached his house. I think Nancy would get suspicious if i asked for Chris and we went to his room by ourselves. So I decided to use his window. Dammit! I completely forgot he lives in a freaking two-floor house. I have an idea...
I walked up to the window with the pink curtains. I softly knocked on it, hoping his sister Hannah would answer it. Sure enough, a few moments later a cute, blonde-haired girl opened the window.
"Hi, Kaitlyn."
"Hi, Hannah. Can you please let me in? I need to see Chris."
"You know we have a front door, right?" she said sarcastically.
I rolled my eyes. "Yes I do. I think your mom's gonna get suspicious if I go into Chris's room alone."
She thought about it for a few seconds. "Hurry up! Its getting cold out here!" I said, rubbing my arms. The sun had gone down and night was getting closer.
"Okay, fine." she said and helped me through the window.
"Thanks, Hannah," I thanked her and snuck up to Chris's room. My heart pounded and my legs felt like Jell-O.
I slowly opened his door.
"Hey, Kait! Come on in!"
"Hi, Chris," I said and kissed his cheek. He was sitting on the floor and playing a video game.
"I'm glad you're back."
"Thanks. I'm glad to be back with you."
I smiled. We ended up playing video games for a while. Finally, I paused it. Time for seriousness.
"Listen, Chris. There's something I need to tell you."
"What is it?"
Here goes nothing.
"I like you. I always have. Ever since we met at the park. My life was miserable while you were gone. I didn't feel like myself. But now that you're here, I want to tell you how I really feel.
He stared at me for a few seconds. Dammit. I probably just killed our entire friendship. I looked away from his wide eyes staring at me. It made me feel to guilty.
Woah! Nevermind! Next thing I know, Chris picks me up in his arms, throws me on his bed, and now I'm being tickled and kissed by him.
"Chris...stop!" I tried to say between my laughs. He gave me one last kiss on my neck and then threw himself next to me. We were both facing up at the celing.
"Kaitlyn, you don't know how happy I am! Babe, I feel the same way about you! I've always liked you, but I didn't to ruin our friendship."
"Same here. So, are we an...item?" I instantly regretted saying that."
"Yeah. We are. I love you."
OK, Ok. This was a sucky chapter. And I wrote some of this on Sunday night, but never finished it. That's why it says I start school tomorrow. I started school Monday. I honestly don't like it. It's not as good as I thought it would. And some people give me weird looks. Whats up with that? I'm starting to think it's because there's something wrong with what I look like. I also got my iPod taken away for two days because I did something stupid and retarded. But please leave your comments and tell me if you like it. I promise i will update soon. Ok. Thanks for reading! :3
