Chapter 3:Over The Years

Haaaaaaii y'all!!! So this is my last upload until like maybe Wednesday. Tomorrow I'm going to Knotts for the whole day. Then I'll be in San Fransisco for the weekend. I get back Monday really late in the day. Then on Tuesday I'm going to Six flags with my school. So maybe I'll upload then if I'm not too tired. xD and this coming week I'm going to be busy with all kinds of graduation crap. I graduate next thursday. Not looking forward to it. -__________- But I will upload like crazy when I get back and start a new story that I have an idea for. Okay, so enough rambling about my life. On to the story!!! Pic in the side bar is what Kaitlyn looks like but it came out all weird. Whatever.

---2 Years Later! :O---

(A/N: This WHOLE chapter is going to be in Kaitlyn's POV! And it's mostly her thoughts, not a lot of dialogue :3)

Has it really been two years?!?!? Two years since me and Chris met each other. It feels like yesterday. Sometimes I still have the urge to sneak out at midnight and go to the park where I'll find him sitting on a bench and smoking a cigarette. In those two years we became friends. Best friends, at that. We are super close. I put him through all my girliness. And he puts me through all his boyishness. It's pretty funny. And a little perverted...

People change. I've grown since I was fourteen. I'm sixteen now. I've found out a lot about myself and changed my style a little. I dyed my hair a lighter brown and got my nose pierced. It HURT. I also wear more makeup now. And I wear my hair straightened instead of curly because it got a lot longer.

And Chris you may ask? He still dyes his hair blonde even though his natural color is brown. But he's still the same Chris I know and love. But there's one thing I haven't told Chris-that I like him. I just don't want to ruin our friendship but I need to tell him how I feel. I'm actually going to go meet up with him right now.

"Chris!"

"Hey, Kait!" He said and hugged me. He gave me a quick kiss on the cheek. Yeah, we do that.

Taylor and Hayden had also tagged along.

"Friends with benefits!" Taylor teased.

"Ugh, shut up, Taylor!" I said jokingly.

"Look, she's blushing!" Great. Hayden had to point that out.

"Leave me alone, guys!" I said and tried to hide my tomato-red face.

"Yeah, leave her alone guys!" Chris said, pretending to mock me.

We all fell into sudden laughter.

"Let's hang out at Waffle House!" Chris suggested.

We walked down to Waffle House, our favorite place to eat and hang out.

Of course, Chris, Hayden, and Taylor were downing cups of coffee like there was no tomorrow.

I turned my attention to the people coming into the restaurant. It was my "best friend," Sonny. Of course, she was with her boyfriend. I stopped hanging out with them because I felt like a third wheel. She would always cut me off from calls. "Gotta go! Jake is calling!" When I invite her to come to my house or hang out, "No, sorry. I have plans with Jake." I kept staring at them, especially Sonny. I was surprised at how much she had changed.

"Watcha looking at?" Taylor said in my ear and nearly scared the living crap out of me.

"Taylor! You scared me! Not cool, man!"

They were all busting up with laughter.

"Damn, Kait! You jumped like five feet in the air! Someone was in deep thought!" Chris said and poked my sides.

"Yes, I was. Not nice to scare your friend like that."

"Seriously, what were you looking at?"

I looked down at my glass of milk and stirred it with my straw.

"My friend Sonny is here with her boyfriend. She didn't even say hi."

"So what? If she chose a boy over her best friend, she's not a true friend," Chris said.

"Yeah, you have a point. It's just sad knowing I don't have a best friend anymore."

"You never know, she might come around."

"Who needs her when you've got the most awkward bunch of hooligans right here?" (A/N: If you've seen Chris's Stickam videos, you'll get it xD) Chris asked, referring to him, Hayden, and Taylor.

I chuckled. "Oh, you guys are awesome."

So thats it. I know it was really short but it's seriously 1:10 in the morning and I'm tired. I'm such an insomniac. Haha. I will upload as soon as I get back! I'll see you guys really soon! Please comment, vote, and fan!
