I woke up to laughing in the kitchen. I walked through to find Elizabeth and Soda messing about whilst trying to make chocolate cake. I don't think they were trying very hard. Elizabeth was wearing one of Soda's tees on and it fell just above her knees because of how big it was, so it basically was a dress. She looked like she loved Soda and he looked the same about her.

"What are you two doing?" I laughed.

"Making chocolate cake. What does it look like?" Soda asked me seriously.

"It looks like you're making a mess." I said back, still laughing.

"That's the whole point!" He screamed throwing flour in my face. Elizabeth started crying with laughter, like literally.

"I'll get you back Sodapop Patrick Curtis!" I sneered walking to the bathroom.

"Oooh middle name threat." Soda replied in a very bored voice.

"Go away!" I yelled from the bathroom, slamming the door behind me. Not that I meant to slam the door. I was going to just was my face but I ended up showering instead.

I must've been in the shower for a while because once I was out everyone was up. Well by everyone was up I mean the entire gang was there.

"Hi Ash." Two-bit said as he saw me. Instead of replying I threw my hair towel at him. Then he yelled, "What was that for?! I'm all wet now!"

"Oh dear. What a shame." I said, in a bored voice, as I caught the towel Two threw back at me.

"That's it!" Two yelled and he wrestled me to the ground.

"Get off!" I screamed. I was winning though to be honest, he must've been letting me because he usually wins.

"Never!!" He started chanting.

"Two, geroff her!" Dally yelled.

"I'm fine, Dal!" I yelled back at him.

"I better listen to Dal, Ash." Two told me.

"Shut up." I said as I hit him on the arm and put the towel over his head.

I went and sat on Dally's lap. "Hey babe." He whispered in my ear.

"Hi." I whispered back as I stared into his eyes. I bit my lip to keep me from smiling. God I loved him so much. I wish he realised how much. He noticed me biting my lip so kissed me to stop it. It was only a light kiss and it was nice because it made a change.

"I better get going guys. We've got the dingo later haven't we?" I said standing up.

"Yeah. I can pick you up if you like? It's on the way." Darry asked me as I stood by the open door.

"Yeah that'd be great if you don't mind."

"If I did mind I wouldn't have offered. So yeah it's fine. Around 6.40?" He suggested.

"Yeah see you then. Bye guys." I said as I shut the door behind me. I heard a chorus of byes as I walked down the path leading away from their house.

I got home to music blasting loud throughout the house. Marci's home. "Asha! Where were you last night?" She asked before I even had stepped through the door. And how did she even know I was here? It's not like she could hear me the music was that loud.

"Oh I stayed at the Curtis'." I shouted over the music.

"Oh.... What do you see in them anyway?" She asked again.

"They're my friends thank you. How would you react if I asked that about your friends?" I snapped at her as I started walking up the stairs. I couldn't be bothered to listen to her reply I knew it would only cause an argument.

I walked into my bedroom and walked over to my wardrobe. I didn't want to look to fancy tonight but I wanted to look decent. In the end I decide to wear my dark blue shorts and my hot pink crop.

I changed into the clothes and walked over to my dressing table. I attempted eyeliner and it actually looked half decent so I decided to keep it. My hair had gone quite curly from the walk back so I decided not to brush it, otherwise it would go frizzy. I clipped back my fringe with a hot pink bow.

It was later than I realised, well it was 5 o'clock. To be honest I had been dancing around my room like an idiot for the past hour or two. "Asha." Marci said quietly as I walked past her door.

"Yeah. What?" I asked turning around and leaning on the wall.

"Why have you changed all of a sudden?" She asked. Her voice sounded sad and I don't know why.

"What do you mean?" I asked back. I didn't think I had changed.

"Well usually you wouldn't snap at me when I ask what you see in your friends."

"I only snapped because it's a stupid question to ask." I snapped at her. Oh.... I see what she means now. I didn't want to argue with her so I started walking to the stairs. She followed me.

"I could easily tell you what I see in my friends." She said in a quiet voice again.

"Well I don't really want to know." I snapped, turning around to face her at the top of the stairs.

"See you have changed!" She cried and gave me a light push on the shoulders. She didn't realise I had the phone wire wrapped around my foot. Neither did I until I started to fall. First I slipped a couple of steps but then the wire wouldn't stretch and more so I toppled over whacking my head on the steps.

I was really dizzy and tried to stand up. Forgetting I was attached to the wire. I ended up ripping it off of the wall and spinning around, still on the stairs, and hitting my temple on the wall and my ankle on the stair banister. "Asha!" Marci screamed, but I was to dizzy to reply. "It'll be fine." I heard Marci saying to herself and then it went silent.
