We walked into the Curtis'. Payton walked over to Johnny and hugged him. I was so glad they'd met, Johnny deserved a girl like her. Just like everyone else deserved their girls. "Ash? You okay?" Two asked. I nodded at him and smiled.
I walked through to the kitchen and grabbed a glass of chocolate milk. "Asha. What's wrong?" Two-bit asked, making me jump.
"Nothing." I said bluntly, leaning against the kitchen surface. Two walked up to me and grabbed my shoulders. Lightly shaking me he said softly,
"Asha, I can tell when you're lying."
"Well I'm not lying now. So your superpowers are obviously broken." I said defiantly.
"Yeah....." He thought for a minute. "So did you tell your parents?" My eyes filled with tears.
"Maybe." I whispered.
"And that's what's wrong!" He whispered to himself pulling me into a hug.
I heard the door open and close again. I peaked over Two-bit's shoulder and saw Dally, he saw me too. His eyes went wide. "Hey, baby girl, what's wrong?" I pushed Two off me and mouthed 'Thanks.' He nodded and walked off, leaving Dally in the doorway.
"Baby, tell me." He said softly, putting his hand on my shoulder. I slid down the kitchen cupboards so that I was sat on the floor. Dally came and sat next to me.
"It's my parents, I told them." I whispered.
"Oh, right." He started, "And what did they say?"
"Mum was shouting at me through the door and Marci was saying how it should've been her. Then Dad came home and said how you'd ruined me and how I should've said no. They don't understand how much I love you...." I cried.
"I love you too." He interrupted. I smiled a little smile at him and carried on,
"Dad went berserk and said I had to get out. He said I have to go get my stuff tomorrow when they're not in because, of course, they're going on holiday without me now."
"It'll all be okay baby." Dally whispered pulling me into a hug. "I know it's hard now but it'll get better. I'm not going anywhere." I smiled a little to myself.
"Thanks Dal. I don't know what I'd do without you." I whispered back to him.
Dally pushed off and grabbed my hand. "We can always move in together at my uncles place?" He suggested as we walked through to the main room. I skipped a step and smiled lightly at him,
"Good idea."
"Hey you two, we were just talking about going on holiday to Payton's Aunt's house." Jordan said as she saw us.
"Yeah. And it's by the beach!" Steve said gleefully. Payton smiled at me and I smiled back.
"Sounds great." I said sitting on Dally's lap.
"When're we going?" Angelina asked.
"Well me and Steve have next week off work." Soda piped up.
"I should be able to get then off." Darry said. We all looked at Jordan in anticipation, she was the only one left who had a job.
"Same here." She laughed. The gang erupted in cheers.
"Next week then?" Elizabeth asked.
"If that's okay with your Aunt." Emmalie said quietly.
"It'll be fine." Payton answered.
"All sorted then?" Angelina questioned.
"All sorted." Two answered and kissed her on the lips.
"We all need a break anyway." Darry piped up.
"Yeah we do." I agreed.
"Hey, Dally?" I said, looking into his eyes. I needed a place to stay the night, if we weren't staying at his uncle's.
"Yeah babe." He replied.
"We staying at your uncles?" I asked him.
"It's ours, so yeah." He laughed. I smiled at him and kissed him.
"I love you." He muttered pulling away. I smiled at him as I wrapped my legs around his waist, forgetting about the gang.
"I love you too." I whispered, kissing him again. Before I knew it we were getting pillows and blankets thrown at us.
