Eileen's POV
_____________I thought I'd might as well follow Madelyn. There she was sitting on her front stoop. She was holding her neck softly with both of her hands. I went up to her and talked to her.
"I know you are going through tough times, but how did you get away?" I asked. "You cut him. He must be immortal."
She looked up, face full of tears. "I did?" Madelyn asked stunned.
"Yes." I said. "He must be mortal when you hit him. I mean that he actually took damage when you hit him."
"Then again, I did knock his dagger out of his hands."
"Exactly. How did you do that?"
She shrugged and looked at her hands. They had both her and his blood on it.
She started to gag. "I feel like I'm going to be sick if I don't wash this off." She said as she ran into the bathroom to wash her hands.
When she came back, she was back to holding her neck.
"Madelyn, are you okay?" I asked.
"Yea, it's nothing." She replied.
"No, there's something wrong."
I took her hands and pried them away from her neck. Then I looked at her carefully and saw a cut on her neck.
"Oh jeez." I said. "He must have held his dagger that firm to your throat. Are you okay?"
"Again, yeah." She said. "I'm fine. I was kinda being a wiseass, but I don't know why I am his next target."
Then it came to me. "I know you might find me crazy, but hear me out. You must be the only one who will be able to kill him."
"Really?"
"Totally."
"But I'm not ready yet." She said, tears starting to slowly run down her face.
......
Madelyn's POV
______________I knew I wasn't ready. I was scared about the feeling when Herobrine's onslaught will get to me.
"I don't know yet." I said after thinking for a while. "What if he kills me first?"
"Well," She said. "He will rule the world and we wouldn't be alive anymore."
She looked at me as if she wanted to punch me. "Way to freaking cheer me up."
"Hey, it's true."
Garrett over heard us and ran over.
"Hey guys...Oh shit, What happened?" He asked.
...
Eileen's POV
_______________"Look at her neck." I said. "It's cut."
Garrett came close. "Let me take a look at that." He said.
Madelyn sat down on the steps and lifted up her head. "Yup. She was cut pretty deep by Herobrine's dagger." Garrett said. "I should have a healing potion with me somewhere."
"You're kidding." Madelyn said.
He found it and took it out. "This might sting a bit." He said. I could hear the sizzle of the potion doing its work. She screamed.
"Ow!" Madelyn screamed in agony.
"It's okay." Said Garrett. "It's supposed to do that. It just needs time to work." He put a hand on her shoulder.
"Then why didn't my arm heal that fast?" She asked.
Then I noticed the wolf ears. "Hey, did Herobrine threaten to cut off your ears?" I asked.
"God damnit, Garrett!" I screamed.
"Jeez, I was just asking a simple question." Garrett said.
I face palmed at his remark. I mean, Oh my god. I wanted to punch him for saying that and neglecting the fact she asked him a question. That was really freaking rude?
"Can you answer my damn question first?" She asked.
"Oh, yeah. Sorry. Your arm isn't healing that fast because that arrow was pretty deep in there. It reached bone. You were lucky you can still move it. Potions work in more numbers when it's that serious."
About freaking time, Garrett. Jeez, you can get so off track all the time.
"Thank you. That's what I wanted to hear. Now want me to answer your question?"
"Please."
"Ok, let me start with the fact I had those ears for my whole life." She said. "I'm part wolf."
That explains it. I thought. "But why did he?" I asked. "Well. He saw the picture of me in the paper. He knows what I look like now." She said.
....
Madelyn's POV
____________
Why? I thought. First, the paper, and now he almost freaking kills me? I mean, this is going way to far.
"So you're a part mob Minecraftian too?" Garrett asked.
Eileen face palmed. "Yes, Garrett. Haven't you noticed the freaking wolf ears and, Oh I don't know, the yellow freaking eyes?"
"Jeez Eileen. You don't have to be that way." He said.
I kept talking to stop the argument. "So with me, I have the same agility as a wolf. My climbing is pretty good too. I practice so much, it's like second nature now. Keen hearing and heightened senses. I have yet until I reach a certain age where I can control when I can look like this. Not for a few years though."
They stared at me.
"Ok, you just stopped me from punching him once again." Eileen said.
"Really?" Garrett complained. "Why me?"
"Oh, shush." Eileen replied. "We just gotta find the reason why Herobrine wants her so bad."
