Chapter 37 - The Nether

Caitlin's POV

She risked her life for us. I was crying. "Bring her back!" I yelled. "Just bring her back." Samantha grabbed my shoulders. "She's gone." She said. "I'm sorry, but she said to go on without us. There is nothing we can do now."

We saw the portal. It was two yards away. "Now." Said Madelyn. "Be careful when you enter. There may be an ambush." We nodded and walked to the portal. "We are going to 'turn me in' as I was told." She said.

We went through the portal and knew that there was no turning back.

Garrett's POV

We went through the nether portal. I had a feeling someone was waiting for us. It sure was a very hot climate. We were all sweating. "And why is his lair in the nether?" I asked impatiently. "Could it be in a cave at least?" "I'm asking the same question." Cora said. "My brother is out of his mind."

As we went deeper into the nether, we came across a fortress. It was constructed out of nether bricks. We walked in and we saw everything. We looked in all places of brewing stands and enchanting rooms. It was incredible. We saw an armory and and weaponry room. Rooms of diamond and gold were on either side of the corridor.

Madelyn walked ahead and peeked into one room.

Madelyn's POV

I saw the figure in a turquoise shirt and jeans. "Herobrine." I said. "We meet again." "I'm surprised that you came." Herobrine said. "I thought you were going to chicken out and have everyone else die." "I think ahead." I said. "Oh and your girlfriend killed Eileen. Tell her I said to frick off. You should know that I knew her." I laughed.

She walked around the corner and stood next to him. "I heard that." She said. "Well I knew your boyfriend was in this room." I said. "I have ears you know. Remember me, Annabelle?"

She laughed. "Of course!" She said. "Why wouldn't I forget about a Minecraftian who is part wolf? You are very valuable to everyone, but not to us. You are a threat."

"Then why did you kill Eileen?" I asked. "She is part cat and she also has the ability to kill him. So I killed her." She said.

"She didn't have the power to kill him all along." I yelled. "I do. And I won't go home without a fight." "So be it." Annabelle said.
