“Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.”

"I like to thank everyone for attending this press conference," Jungkook's dad says as he gives the last of his statements to the press as they were so riveted by the whole event.

All around the conference area was whispers and murmurs of adults all tied to business and the blinding flashes of the cameras as I sat in the front, next to my dad.

Jungkook didn't attend this event as he said he wasn't feeling well, but I very much knew that lie couldn't have been more obvious. Regardless, I'm sure he knew everything that had been said already.

"As I have returned back to my former position, I would like to thank my brilliant team and staff at J-neration for going above and beyond performance levels as usual as our annual ending fall season fashion show will be hosted in three days. I will be delighted to see some of your attendance."

He then looks over to my dad and me as he gave a small, soft smile. "Most importantly I would like to thank my son who brilliantly took over in my place of absence. With his knowledge and skills level in the company, I have no doubts that the future of this company is in good hands and will continue growing. Thank you all and this is the conclusion of this conference."

He finally ended as he stepped off the podium. As he did some people quickly came up to him and asked him a million different questions which he answered while talking to some of his employees around. My dad soon got up and patted me on the shoulder before heading over towards him as well.

An hour or so passed by before things all officially ended and all that was left in the empty lobby of the store front was just me, my dad, and Jungkook's dad.

"It's good to see you doing well Hyunjae. I haven't seen you since you were in high school. How are you?" The ladder came up to me and asked.

I bowed to him in respect as he approached me. "I'm doing well Uncle. How are you?"

"I'm here aren't I." He laughed while I nervously chuckled along.

"So I here from your father that you have been working in the company as Jungkook's assistant." He asks raising both his eyebrows.

"Yeah. I'm sorry if I did, but I can assure you I worked really hard and tried my best to help Jungkook. Not at all distracting him!" I quickly blurted out.

He laughed again once more. "I know my dear, you don't need to explain to me. Your father wouldn't have allowed this to happen if you weren't capable and I know first hand what a brilliant mind you have."

I smiled. "Thank you, Uncle."
