"And I'll be riding and I'll be dying in my city" -BTS Ma City

After surviving a sixteen hour trip from Upstate New York, I finally made it to Seoul where I'll spend another hour or so to get back to Busan.

Well I did it.

I finally made it out alive.

Although it was mostly spent sleeping through 90% of the entire flight.

The other unfortunately 10% was used to help none other than John who's overwhelming presence reached the peak of my sanity.

But it was entertaining for the most part so I wasn't too irritated.

Quite frankly his boisterous energy was refreshing.

I finally took off my headphones and unbuckled my seat belt as I waited for my fellow seat buddy to get his things in order.

Once, he got out of his seat, he went straight to get his carrier out of the overhead seat compartment.

I just watched as he struggled to get it out by himself.

I felt bad for not helping but I really couldn't do anything with the position I'm stuck in right now.

He finally got it out and placed it on the ground. Swiping the sweat of his brow, which somehow managed to form in this extremely cool, air conditioned plane.

He took out the handle, probably making a mental note to work out more and turned to me with a small smile which I gave one back in return.

Once he cleared the way, I got myself out and got my backpack out of the same compartment.

I'm glad his suitcase didn't squish anything since my laptop and a lot of my most valuable possessions were inside it.

With everything in my hands, I finally exited the plane, managing to be the last one out.

Once, I was on my way through airport security, I felt someone call after me.

"Alex.. Alex... Oh Alex." I stopped in my tracks and turned around after hearing the familiar nice high pitched voice. "John?" I mumbled.

He finally caught up to me, panting and holding onto his knees not aware of the people staring at him.

He really does need to workout more.

Once he finally catches his breath, he gets up from his position and tries to balance himself.

I meanwhile stood there, still with my confused face until he finally spoke up again.

"I forgot to give this back" He said in a more or less calmer voice while raising a familiar Korean/English pronunciation book.

"You ran all the way just for that?" I asked genuinely confused.

"I apologize I almost forgot to give it back to you."

Right as he said that, I looked at it while going over the events that happened not too long ago

I had just woke up from my nap immediately welcomed by John's constant mumbling and page flipping.

They were small, subtle noises but that just made them even more annoying.
