"Family like branches on a tree, we all grow in different directions, yet our roots remain as one."
"You have really nice handwriting for a guy you know." I told Jungkook as we were creating handwritten designs for the wedding invitations. Almost a whole three months have passed by and here we were in the midst of spring preparing for the big celebration.
Yuki wanted the wedding to be a bit more personal so we all insisted on helping out with most of the wedding instead of hiring big people for it. It was kinda fun helping out with a wedding, who knew it be this exciting.
"Why thank you. I try." He smiles.
"Yup just another thing to add to the list of everything else you're good at. Why am I still friends with you again?" I sigh.
"Don't get jealous. It's not like I try to show off."
"So you say." He shakes his head as we continue working on the designs. The plan was to make at least ten unique designs and then have them fully fleshed out and printed on a bunch of invites. The wedding was going to be semi large as not only will family and friends be invited, but beloved employees and colleagues will be as well.
I sighed as I continued with my design.
"Do you miss them?" Jungkook asks to start a conversation once again.
"I mean yeah of course I do. It's so lonely in the apartment by myself. Well at least call to FaceTime every now and then." I say talking about Timothy and Adriana. After they left, everything felt so empty. Luckily, we all FaceTime often and every now and then would watch a movie together virtually. It wasn't the same as it was in person, but it was still just as nice.
At least I wasn't completely alone. Fortunately, Jungkook has once again became glued to my side after things became normal, so I guess something good came from it.
"It would've been nice if they could've came to the wedding. They're really cool. I miss hanging with them in person too.
"They may be cool, but that doesn't mean they aren't embarrassing. I don't even wanna know what kind of chaotic mess they would possibly do at a wedding."
"Then invite them to ours and find out." He flirtatiously winks as I tsked at him.
"Hey at least Taehyung and Jin형 are coming to the wedding. It'll be finally great to see them again too."
"Yeah Jin..." I mumbled off. After our last hangout, we dropped off Timothy and Adriana at the airport in the morning. A couple of days later, Taehyung went of to Europe as he had something to do in France or so while Jin soon went on a business trip for his family's company to China and Japan.
We hear updates from both of them from time to time, but with everyone's busy schedule we haven't had a casual conversation yet. Safe to say it's been about three or four months and I haven't given Jin an answer. I was actually nervous to see him at the wedding again because after all this time, I might finally have an answer for him.
"Okay, I just finished up the last designs I needed to make. How about you?"
I finish up the last letter of the calligraphy I was doing before putting the felt pen down.
"Yup, I'm officially done too." I smiled as I held up the design to the ceiling lights to get a better view of it before putting it down with the rest.
