Chapter ELEVEN

The buzzing of my phone from the night stand woke me up early this morning. I groaned loudly and reached over Aliyah, grabbing it into my hand. I knew her ass was up too, so I don't know why she acting sleep. She wasn't a hard sleeper for shit. Her ass probably been up forever, she's become an early bird now since Amani got here.
"Yo." I said loudly into the phone already mad. I didn't even look at the caller I.D as I listened to whoever was on the other line. They was fucking with my sleep, and I don't play that shit. I hate to be woken up before 12, I'm bitchy when that happens. I should be allowed to sleep however long I felt.
"Aye man, you got to get down to the trap on the east. Some niggas then broke in and robbed the place." I heard through my receiver, and I knew damn well I wasn't hearing right. I pulled the phone away to check the caller I.D to see that it was Que, one of my east-side workers. He'd been down every since my dad first started down here, little nigga was ruthless. Actually he was the big nigga because he was at least 23 while I was freshly 19.
"What the hell you mean the trap got robbed? Don't fuck with me right now Que." I yelled into the phone as I sat up in the bed quickly. I wasn't feeling this conversation at all. I felt Aliyah jump next to me from my talking so loud. I forgot that her and Amani were even in the room right now. I cursed myself and took my conversation to the bathroom so my yelling wouldn't be heard through the sound proof walls.
"I'm not fucking wit you man, about 15 grand missing and the whole place is trashed. No trace or sign left from any potential robbers." he said into the phone and that made my blood boil instantly. I knew my whole face was just about red from hearing this shit. I was going to get to the bottom of this.
"Damn, you would call me with this shit on Christmas day! How the fuck did this even happen, explain that shit to me Que." I said as I paced back and forth in the room as I gripped the hair on my chin. I was getting angrier by the second as time passed by. Just the thought of somebody spending those 15 grand we worked hard for hit me like bricks. 15 Gs wasn't nothing that hurt my pockets, but the fact that somebody stole from the team ain't sit well.
"My fault boss, I just didn't want to leave you out of the whole thing. I don't know how this happened, but you know we gone find out. Until then, what you want me to do about this?"
I sighed in frustration. "You good, just start cleaning all that shit up. I'll be through in about 15. The blocks gone start talking and best believe I'm gone get some answers from somebody or the whole city gone bleed." I said and ended the call. I wanted to throw my phone against the wall, but I kept my composure.
I went back into the bedroom to find the both of them still sound asleep. I went straight for the closet and threw on some grey sweats with a Last Kings black t-shirt. I slipped on some black Nike's and headed out of the room and down the stairs. I went into the kitchen to get something to calm myself down. I had grown a mean ass headache just that quick from this bullshit. My Christmas was already starting off on a bad foot.
I popped a pain killer into my mouth and downed some of my Gatorade with it. I stood over the counter with my eyes closed just taking a moment to think about everything. I couldn't believe some niggas dared to even rob one of the traps. I'd find out, for a simple price niggas run they mouth like bitches. The truth gone come out sooner or later, and the nigga who did better hope its later.
"Where you going so early?" I heard behind me and I can't lie like I didn't jump. I turned around to see Aliyah standing behind me with her arms crossed over her chest. I sighed in relief looking over her small frame. Her thick hips in the small cotton blue shorts, the thin white camisole, and the high red socks up to her knees showed how harmless she was. I sighed in relief.
