Chapter 5: Hide

(Sam's POV)

Man I feel like we couldn't go any farther down but when it seems like it can't it keeps going.
"I'm sorry for bringing you all down here" Chris said not looking at me as he takes the final step before jumping off onto the floor.
" Its not your fault we should've stayed on the right path like the map told us too" I stated jumping down and landing on my ass.
Ugh I need food.
" Do ya still have food?" I asked him
" Yes. Chips?" He asked looking around us in this cavern looking place.
"Sure" I said blankly.
What are we gonna do our group split up into even smaller teams which puts us in more danger and we have no idea what's going on with our friends, I just hope they are ok.
" What do we do now" I asked looking around for an option.
" Well there's three caves, one is a dead end so that's a no, one is kind of submerged underwater and the other one is a crawl space." He said nervously.
" I prefer swimming than a tiny hole it's to tight" I said walking towards the water.
" Ewe it's grosssssssss" I said gliding in.
" Give me your hand and I'll lead through just don't get to paranoid"  He said as he starts moving in the water.

Then we heard rocks behind us falling.
"Jose?"

"Ashlee?"
.........
" Christina?" I said now scared.
"Hide. Now" Chris said going behind some rocks around us.
"What was that?" A whisper barely escaped my throat before something ran into the water.
We both turned off our flashlight but we can see outlines of things around.
What is it?
It's waking so creepy it's has no hair, eweeeeee where are the eyes, holy shit those nails are deadly.
"........"
It crawled out of the Tunnel and crawled up the wall into one of the many tunnels on the roof.
"What was that?" I said shaking
" I don't know and I so don't want to wait around to find out come on" He said trudging me in front of him.
Whatever that thing was, it does not look like a person, or what's left of one. Ewe I can't think about this right now I just wanna get out of this water and find somebody else before my heart shoots out of my chest.

(Group 2: Venicia's POV)

I would say walking around in the dark is bad but that would be an understatement to what we're currently doing, I swear if we end up drowning while finding our way out of here I'm haunting these fuckers for ever.
"How much farther do you think this tunnel goes for" Ashleigh said looking forward.
" Who even knows but I'm hoping it ends soon" Lana stayed as she trudged forward almost tripping in the water(somehow).
" I think I'd be more scared of what is gonna get to us before our friends do" Christina said from the back.
"Please don't talk about that right now I'm not in the mood for more bad images of what could kill me" I said as we came to the end of the tunnel before pulling ourselves into some kind of empty space.
"Where do we go now" Ashleigh said looking at the three tunnels ahead of us.
"Well I'm not up for dying first so we're all staying together" Christina said looking down the caves with her flashlight.
Peering down one of the caves I saw something......and it's coming towards me.
"Uh I think we should choose a tunnel now"
I said skipping each breath.
"Why" Lana said looking.
"Because if we don't go now I think that's gonna choose for us" I said pointing at the creature running at me just a few feet away.
"OH HELL NO!!!!" Christina said running down the middle tunnel already taking off.
"There's another one coming from the water!?!?" Ashleigh said as she took Lana hand and darted down the farthest tunnel to the right.
The creature almost at the entrance of the left tunnel as I ran down the middle tunnel to catch-up with Christina just as something clawed begins me cutting my arm but not enough to be an issue.
" This has got to be the WORST SUMMER PLANS ever!!" I said next to Christina as we're dashing down the tunnel away from whatever attacked us....

(Destiny's POV)

I can not stand the silence around us but it's way better than talking to him. I swear if I get out of this I'm killing Izzy and Star for putting me with this guy.
"Stop" Berto said putting his arms in front of me.
"Why should I listen to you" I snapped back pushing his arm down.
" Unless you wanna fall a good 45 feet down into a pool of water I suggest you wait for me to put the harnesses up." He said looking at me with annoyance.
"Whatever can you hurry up I want find my friends already" I stayed looking around us then looking down..... man that look far and I can't even see all the way down, but I can hear the water from down there.
"Alright there's set up you just gotta swing your self forward then latch and repeat till you get to the other side" He said with a blank face.
"Excuse me" I said with sarcasm.
" You've been excused" he said moving to the side.
He's dumb as fuck if he thinks I'm doing this first.
" Why don't you go first" I said looking at him.
" Cause your lighter and could probably get over faster" he said blandly
"Whatever"
As I swing my way over I reach the other side and turn around to toss Berto the Ropes.

" Berto look out behind you!!" I said seeing a creature that I've never seen before grab and start trying to slash his throat open.
I see him turn around and barely move before they both grab each other.
" Why don't you be useful and help me out" He yelled over not leaving any sarcasm out of his sentence.
"Fuck you asshole I'm looking" I said as I looked around for anything I could use to help, I found two decent sized rocks maybe if I threw them hard enough it'll knock that thing down the hole.
So threw them....
And I hit the creature....

But I also hit Berto......
Which sent him tumbling down the pit into the water...

"Oh Shit" Was all I could say.

I'm Alone....

(Lana's POV)

I'm so not waiting around for some ugly ass mutha fucker to come and eat me. Thank god I at least followed someone with a brain.
We stopped once we entered a big cavern with a body of water towards the middle of it.
"Where are we? Ashleigh asked looking around her.
"I don't kno-" I was cut off by the sound of yelling as I look up and see two figures falling from one of the holes of the cavern ceiling and into the water.
" What the fuck?!?!" Ashleigh said running over to the water.
" What is it?" But my question was already answered as I caught up to her and looked to see a dead creature from earlier floating lifeless in the water and tussled up Aldaberto looking up at us.
"Oh hey guys just decided to drop on in" He said with sarcasm pulling himself out of the water.
"Where did you even come from" I asked looking at him with wide eyes.
"Well after being separated I was partnered up with Destiny, who's a horrible partner, and we're walking down a tunnel and have to cross over this hole to the other side, being gentleman I am I let her go first and I got jumped by whatever the fuck that thing is."
He said trying to dry his clothes.
"Then how did you get down here" Ashleigh said still confused.
"Because I asked destiny to help me and she threw rocks which hit the thing and she also hit me so I fuckin tumbled my way down here and here I am now..... Alive."
"Where's Destiny" Me and Ashleigh said in unison.
"I have no idea" Is all he said.
