Chapter 6: Lies, Promises and Betrayel

(Izzy's POV)

This cave is creeping me out the longer I'm in it, We should've just stayed on the path, but I really wanted to mess with Ashlee's nerves by having destiny agree with me. I guess it all works out.
"Which way are we going?" Star asked looking around the tunnel.
"I don't even remember" I said continuing forward.
"I think we're gonna have to start crawling" Star said looking uneasy.
"We'll be fine we're both small we just need to crawl for a few minutes and then we'll be finding our friends in no time" I said.
"Ok"was all I heard.

As we neared the end of the tunnel I saw a figure a head of me. It was way to petite to be any of the monsters we heard down here.
"Is that Destiny" Star said starting to jog.
"Izzy?" I can hear Destiny say from far away.
"Woah what happened to you and where's Berto" I asked with worry laced in my voice.

She explained the situation to us.
And I'm pissed.

"Are you ok Izzy" Star asked looking over.

" Yes I'm fine, let's just go find the others."

I said as we started walking.

"Are you sure Izzy" Destiny asked catching up.

"Yes" I said......

Lying straight through my teeth...

(Ashlee's POV)

"Hey my grandma can walk faster than you and she has arthritis" I said as we walked through a narrow tunnel down which seemed like forever.
"Well I'm sorry that I don't want to walk then step on your chubby ankles and send you falling to the floor causing another cave in" Jose said mockingly.
"Whatever grampa lets just keep moving" I said as we finally reached the end of our long tunnel.
" This place has to much walking" I said catching my breath.
" Let's stop here and text around and see if we can locate anyone" He said going to a rock to sit on.
" Plus this cave isn't that big so if we heard or saw anything we could just make a run for it" He stated.
"Yeah yeah whatever scoot over" I said shooing him over.
I pulled out my phone and texted destiny and Chris.

AshyCakes-Hey are you guys ok?

BestieDes- I'm with Izzy and Star got lost going down spacious tunnel looks to have water at some point.

ChrissyPoo- Me and Sam are laying low in the water tunnels cause something tried attacking us.

AshyCakes-I have yet to encounter one of these "creatures".

DessyPie-You don't want to, I'll text you guys if I see anything or find anyone else.

ChrissyPoo-Same here gotta go.

AshyCakes-Well Fuck you both, have nice days.

I slid my phone into my back pocket before I see Jose pulling out a bottle of whiskey.
Really.
He brought whiskey.
How typical of them.
He saw looking at it and smirked.
"You want some?" He asked
"No I'm trying to lose some calories" I retorted back.
" I wasn't gonna give you any anyways dumbass" He said before taking a swig of it.

"Is it a magic fucking whiskey? Do I get a motorcycle with it? Is it gonna be served in Jesus' shoe?" I snapped back.
Dumb bitch.
He just laughed really loud and then snorted. Why did I get stuck with this guy, man now I want a drink.
I snatched the bottle away from him, he tried taking it back but I slapped his hand away.
I took a drink and looked over at him, he's trying to say something, not with his mouth, I'm assuming telepathically. We had a brief connection. Wow I'm already tipsy.
"Take back your shit" I said pushing it in his chest causing him to fall off the rock.
I laughed so hard I fell off of it too.

I'm stupid.....

(Christina's POV)

I knew we shouldn't have came, I knew I saw something run past the car, and Lana and Ashleigh laughed, Oh I swear when I get out of here I'm killing them before those things do.
Man I could really go for some food right now.
"Hey Venicia can you hand me my bag" I said holding out my arm.
"Here" she simply said handing it to me.
"What do we do now our group was literally cut in half you got cut and we have no idea where we're goin-" She cut me off.
"SHHHHH!!!"
"Why?" I said whispering.
Somethings coming out of the water over there,hide" she said before running behind a rock.
We waited for some creature to come out find us and eat us.
But it was Chris and Sam thank god.

"Oh my god you guys are ok" I said running up to hug them.
" Yup but it's only four of us right now" Sam said worried.
" That's the biggest group so far everyone else is in either groups of two or groups of three." Venicia said.
"How many encounters have you guys had with those things" Sam asked.
Well counting the crash, the cave in, and the ambush I'd say about three times." I said with sarcasm.
"Make that four" Chris said looking towards where him and Sam came from.
"This is my queue to leave" I said running off and With Sam, Chris and Venicia. Man could this not get any worse,
Oh it could......

Cause they can crawl on the ceiling......

(Ashleigh's POV)

As we walked around the big cavern we were in we couldn't help but examine what attacked Berto.
"It looks like it could've been a person" Lana said turning the head.
"But the eyes have skin grown over them" Berto said looking at it with disgust.
" They must've adapted to the dark down here then, which is gross and I don't want to stay around to see more" I said getting up.
" What do you guys have on you" Berto Asked Lana.
"We have some rope, some light snacks, and some bandages and gauze" Lana said back.
"Prepped much" Berto retorted
"At least we didn't fall down a hole" I snapped back.
Before he could say anything three of those things crawled out of the ceiling holes.

"Bye Suckers" Berto said as he pushed Lana over grabbing the bag of ropes and harnesses before running down the hall with one of those things on his tail.
I ran over to Lana helped her up, grabbed the bags and hid behind these boulders until the thing leaves.
The only thing is that he's getting closer to us.

Oh......Fuck.
