Chapter 8: Its Either Me or You

(Lana's POV)

This is by far the worst trip ever I'm never going anywhere again.
That's not true I travel, I'm stupid.
"Are you guys ok" Chris and Sam Said as they ran over to help us up from that whole event that got us almost killed.
"Yeah we're o-" I Said before Ashleigh started yelling.
"WHERE DID DESTINY AND IZZY GO AND WHY DID THEY GO WITH THAT THING?!?!?" she yelled out raging up to them.
Chris quickly caught us up on everything including that dumb ass rescue plan.
" So where did they go?" I asked looking over.
" Somewhere down that tunnel." Sam said walking over.
" Do you think they are ok, who do you think , I hope no one die-" Star was spilling out before cut off by Sams loud yell.
" What happened?!?!" Chris asked running over with the rest of us following.
As I reach the group I look below me and see the body of Berto, or more correctly what's left of him, they ate all but his head.
I..Think...Imma be sick.

" I wonder where the girls went?" Sam asked bending over to see if there's was any trace of them.
"We gotta find them" Star said looking across.
" But we also need to find a way out of here" Lana said looking back.
" I think we should go in two separate groups, one goes to look for the others and the other to find a way out." Ashleigh said looking straight at Sam and Christina.
"Ok so there's..... three......five.....there's seven of us" Chris said sighing.
"That's unfair and a higher chance of others dying" Sam interjected To Ashleigh.
" It's either that or wait around to die" Ashleigh simply said.
"The groups are:

Chris
Christina
Sam

Star
Ashleigh
Venicia
Lana"

"I guess that works" Christina said before walking over to the others.
" We look for the others you guys are a larger group you find the way out" Sam said not taking no for an answer as she walked down a tunnel with the others following behind.
" So they go straight so we're going Up let's go" Ashleigh said as she started to climb up.

Here goes nothing I guess.....

(Izzy's POV) Surprise Bitches!!!!

As soon as I woke up I immediately felt a sharp pain in my leg.
Half of my body was soaked as I pulled the rest of me onto the gravel. My leg bone isn't out of my skin but it's definitely not supposed to face that direction.
I am not gonna survive on my own like this.
I started tearing up remembering What happened before I fell down that hole, oh god why didn't I take her out before she got me.
Now I'm stuck down here by myself with barely and food and some ropes and bandaids.
I promise you Berto no matter what imma make it through this for both of us, and when I do......

I'm Killing Destiny.......

(Destiny's POV)

"Don't make any noise" I mouthed to Jose and Ashlee as we slowly backed away from it.....
That is until Ashlee tripped over a pebble.
"UGH STUPID FUCKING PEBBLE WHY ARE YOU EVEN RIGHT THERE !!!!"She yelled out.

Then it jumped forward just barely missing Ashlee before running up the ceiling headed for Jose.
"Light a flare in his face" I yelled tossing him a pack of two.
He was able to light it..... but not before that thing but his shoulder.
He burnt its face before Ashlee ran up and bashed its head in with her bag.
"Man I got lay off the Mcdoanlds" Ashlee said taking a knee.
" You realized this now" Jose said wrapping his arm.
" What are we gonna do now" I asked looking over at Ashlee.
" I don't know about you losers but I'm eating a pop-tart from my bag." She said unwrapping a pack.
" I'm gonna text Sam and See if she's anywhere near with the others" I said pulling out my phone.

DessyPoo: Hey I'm alive

SammyKins-Thank god what happened to Izzy? I saw what happened to Berto

DessyPoo-Better him than me, he pushed her down the hole I broke her leg so she's dead I'm sure.

SammyKins-Ok well we're trying to find y'all do you have any idea where you could be?

DessyPoo-Grapple your way over the pit keep following that path we'll try to meet you.

I slid my phone into my pocket before walking towards the others telling them what Sam told me and where we're gonna go.
" I'm hoping those other losers can find a way out or all this survival will have been for nothing" Ashlee said with a mouth full of chips.
" Yeah I hope so too" I said looking ahead of us.

"Let's get going losers" Ashlee said running past me into the cave.

I hope we make it out......

(Sams POV)

God I could go for a cheeseburger right now. I wonder how much farther we have to walk before we see them.
" I can't believe Des broke Izzy's leg" Chris said.
I was about to say something when Christina spoke up.
" I can believe I mean after all she's lost to Izzy before I don't think she'd want to again". Reminding us all of what happened in high school.

~Flash Back To Sophomore Year~

(Chris' POV)

"Destiny love why are you crying?" I asked giving her a hug.
" Berto cheated on me with Izzy but the worst part was that I found out from someone else." She said as she wiped away her tears.
" I'm so sorry honestly she's gonna get what's coming to her someday" I said patting her back.
" I'm never losing to Izzy again ever" Destiny said in a scary voice.
" You wanna Ditch 5&6 With Sam and go to McDonald's" I asked with hype.

" Dude I'm so down" She said.

"I'll race you to Sams class" I said getting ready.

"Your on slow ass" She said before taking off.

~End Of Flash Back~

(Sams POV)

Wow I forgot all that happened in one year.

I always felt bad that Izzy still had him all the way up till now.
"Well now she got what came to her" Christina said pulling out a granola bar.

"I think I see them up ahead" Chris said  looking forward.
" I think I see them Too, wait that's not how many people were with them" I said looking five figures coming towards us.
" They also would not be running at us" Christina said turning around.
" Yeah were not waiting around to find out, we should go now.... Like right now!!!" I said turning around as I hear the screams from those things coming closer.

Fuck and I thought things were gonna get easier......

(Ashleigh's POV)

"Just keep climbing and at some point we'll find somewhere to crawl into" I yelled to Venicia and Star who are a few feet ahead of us.

" Do you think we'll find a way out" Lana said as she kept pulling up.

" I'm hoping for the best" I said as we kept climbing.

" Hey guys there's an opening up ahead just
keep going" Venicia said picking up the pace.
" Oh fuck...." Star said looking down.

Why did I look down.
I see a good 6 of them crawling up here towards us.

" Oh shit" I head from Star as the teacher the top her and Venicia are already currently dealing with them up there.

As me and Lana reach the top there's some of the creatures grabbing us from below.
" Oh my god what do we do" Lana said panicking.

" I think one of us is gonna have to fall in order for the other one to get up."

" So it's either me or you" Lana said flatly.
