Part 9: It Can Hear Me

(Ashlee's POV)

As we turned the corner we noticed that their were a lot of bones around the place as stepped on each one.
" Man all these bones cracking sound worse then me when I first wake up to stretch" I said seeing the top half of a skull.
That's just gross.
" Where are Sam, Chris and Christina" Jose asked looking around at the tunnel our friends were supposed to come out of.
"Maybe we should stay still for a moment and listen for anything around us" Destiny said stopping in her tracks.

"You need to swing harder or their gonna eat you!!!!" Venicia said loudly echoing down the on of various tunnels around us.
" I'm trying moron but your in the way" Star said a little less louder causing us to lose their voices.

Fuck I wish we knew where they were.
"I think I know what tunnel they went down follow me" Jose said taking off down a random tunnel.

"This idiots trying to die" Destiny said running after him.

Just as I was about to take off after them I heard something move behind me.
" Ewe what are you" I said backing away from it.
It screeched and ran at me with its claws out and ready.
" No seriously, like WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU?!?! I said swinging my large bag at its face before kicking it's leg out and dashing down the tunnel my friends are waiting for me at the end.

"Man that thug was uglier than my uncle on thanksgiving at the dining table" I said catching my breath.
Gross thing got blood on my clothes....... Just my luck huh........

(Lana's POV)

Before me and Ashleigh got to say anything else Star and Venicia pushes three of those things off taking the rest below with them, allowing us to get up.
"Destiny and Jose went to go look for Ashlee down the tunnel" Star said pulling me up.
"Thank god we found them but where are the others at then?" Venicia asked looking over when Ashlee and Destiny ran in.
" Did you guys Hear from Chris, Sam or Christina" I asked with worry.
" They were supposed to meet us in this connection tunnel but they are late, I texted them but got no response" Destiny said holding up her phone.
" They'll find their way to us we need to find our way out" Ashleigh said looking around.
" There is no way in hell we are leaving without them" Destiny said looking straight at Ashlee.
" Then you can die down here looking but I'm not I want to get out of here" Ashleigh snapped back.
" Cant we at least look around a little bit for them" Star said with Ashlee.
" Whatever but I already want to get out of here I feel like I'm adjusting to the darkness" Ashleigh said as she walked back towards the connection tunnel.

I hope that they are ok.......

(Christina's POV)

"KEEP RUNNING THEY ARE CATCHING UP!!!" Sam said dashing past me down the tunnel.
"WE HAVE TO KEEP GOING OR THEY ARE GONNA GET US!!!" Chris said running next to me.
How did we manage to get into this situation, because our stupid friends got us lost then we listen to another dumb friend just to split up again for us to get killed.
I swear people are stupid.
"I think we lost them" I said turning the corner and hiding.
" Yeah but not for long we need to keep going" Sam said getting up.

"She's right" Chris said leading us down the tunnel.

We exited the tunnel to find this dead end cavern that looks like it's going to fall any moment.

" Yeah I already don't like the looks of this." I
said turning around.

" Let's stop here for a moment and see if anyone texted us" I said sitting down pulling out my phone.

Christinaaaa- Hey are you guys ok?

DessyPoo- Yes but we've been texting you guys how come you barely answer now?

Christinaaaa- We we're running from five of those things.

DessyPoo-Oh fuck are you guys ok?

Christinaaaa- Yeah no ones hurt we outran them now we're sitting in a dead end seeing where y'all are.

DessyPoo- Try meeting up somewhere?

Before I could type out my reply I hear Sam gasp and run behind a rock.
"They could hear us this whole time" Chris said with fear in his voice.
" They're here" Sam said rehiding her head back.
"Chris if you don't make any noise they won't get you" I said getting up and heading towards Chris to pull him away from the entrance......

Only to see something, or someone with an object banging against the rocks.
"What is it doing" I asked
"Get down" Chris said backing up.
" What. Why?" I said walking towards him.

*CRACKKKKK*

" Oh fuck" I heard Sam say from behind me.
"GET DOWN NOW" Chris said taking over to the floor before the whole ceiling came crashing down on all three of us.

............
I was coughing...... underneath rocks trying to make out my words.

" Sam?"
"............"

"Chris?"
"............"

I looked forward to see the figure in front of me but it was too hard to see who it was.

They started walking away before looking at me once before briskly walking down the tunnel.

" Oh fuck......." was all I could say before I let the darkness around me consume me into passing out..........

(Uknown POV)

"Did you get them?" A female voice asked me on the other end of my call.
"Yes" I said back to her before walking down the tunnel looking around.
" That's three out of the twelve in that cave, get the job done and do it faster" the women spoke with ease.
" The jobs simple no one will know these people were ever here" I said as I kept walking.
" Remember You can not let these people leave, if you do the true terror that's been safely kept locked away in this mountain will be exposed causing an outbreak" The women Rambled on.
" No one is leaving this place" I said before thinking off into space.
What in Hells mind were these People thinking following a trail that's not on a map, that's just obscure, now it's costing them their safety, and the safety of the people in Japan, at risk.

"We can't let the word get out about these creatures until we understand them better"
The women spoke.
" We know one thing" I said before bending down.
" And what would that be" she retaliated.

" That these things eat all the flesh and leave the head left to rot" I said looking at what was left of one of the 12 People that are exploring down here.
" there only eight left" I said but not before adding on.....
" But not for long" I said seeing my next targets around the corner before ducking away.........
