Chapter 17: The Tea Is Spilt

(Ashlee's POV)

"Awe come on and I thought the last time I saw you would be the last" I said as he walked towards us.

"Well....well, looks like I got you guys at a lovely time.

"Why are you here" Destiny said looking at him dead in the eye.

" Because if it wasn't for dumb Americans always being curious then this situation would've never happened now would it?" He said before sliding his phone away.

"So I guess your all wondering why this is happening to poor 'ol us, what did we do to deserve this"

He said looking at us.
" Not really we just want your ugly ass away from us." I said looking around for something to throw.

I saw him about to talk so I grabbed a rock and chucked it at his head.
"OUCHHH?!?!!? What the fuck is wrong with you" He said running at me trying to joke me.
" Jokes on you loser I like being choked" I said before kicking him off.

"God the audacity of this man..... didn't even take me to dinner" I said standing back up.
" why did you cover up that families death..... then murder the son and claim he died of a natural cause" Ashleigh spat out catching his attention turning his head to her.

" Your still that slow" He said shaking his.
"Hey, fuckin Einstein just cause you understand doesn't mean we do" I snapped at him.

" That family was attacked on April 23, 2012
The family was attacked by an " unidentifiable creature" how do you think that makes the Japanese look, or how does it make us look for dying on their grounds" He blabbed on before continuing....

" As part of the U.S Service a special group of us are sent here to make sure all incidents including anybody from our land to anyone else's land, are covered up by "tragic accidents"
He stated before reaching for his pocket.
" Now it would be very irresponsible for me to leave my messes around......" He paused before pulling out a gun....

" But all Secret Jobs are messy" He said before smiling.

" Now which one of you is gonna die first?" He said aiming the gun at each of us.

" So you covered up for Japan and The U.S By erasing people from the earth with their families along with them" Ashleigh snapped out.

" No evidence....no reason to suspect anything" he simply said before Ashleigh spoke up again.
"What even are those things"

" To be honest with you, no one knows, tried doing DNA scans, tests, blood tests, lab runs, everything but nothing we have in all of our files is related to what these things are" He simply stated.

" They look like they could've been human" Venicia said.

" You call that a human?!?! I've seen people squirt turkeys out of cans that look more human than those things" I said before turning back the guys.

" You see that's what we thought too...." Then man said pointing his gun at Ashleigh.
"But as we tried to compare any kind of relation to them they fought back, and stuff gets messy when things fight back, so to conclude to my answer.... no it's nothing like we've ever seen before" He said before continuing on.

" We even tried running labs down here to observe them.... That only went so well for little time till they caught onto us watching them" he said.

" So what did they do" Ashleigh asked nervously.

They killed every Lab reporter and Defense down here" He said before taking in a deep breath.

"No matter how far you think you can go, we'll be watching you, how come you think we know where you are at every moment.... I just wished someone would've told me sooner that Those other Three are alive" he said causing us all to tense up.

" I could've told the creatures that their snacks still roaming around" He said before taking the gun off safety.

" Ya know for a guy who follows us everywhere you sure don't pay attention a lot" I said before he spoke up.

" Oh yeah then how come I know that your friends are on their way to get you......" he said causing us all to shut up once again.

" Or how your friends found the way out? I know everything there is to know around this place" He said angrily.

" Dude just calm dow-" Ashleigh said before she was cut off.

*BANGG!!*

Was all you heard before the bullet went straight into Ashleigh's chest sending her to the floor.

" Good now that that's out of the way" He motioned towards Ashleigh.

" Now I can finished what I started" He said before raising the gun at me.
" Let's go with you next, Crazy Cat Lady" He said pointing at me.

" Oh fuck you stupid asshole, you better hope that bullet kills me cause if it doesn't imma stand right back up and cut off your dick and glue it to your forehead you fucking asshole" I Spat out.

"Oh trust me....... I don't mis-"

*BANG*

He stumbled to the floor as Chris stood over him With a Rock in his hand.

" Man He was annoying" Chris simply said before dropping the rock heading over to Ashleigh.

" Hey, Hey your gonna be ok I promise" I said holding Ashleigh's head in my lap as Destiny And Sam try to stop the bleeding.
"We're gonna make it out of here" I said trying to keep her awake.

" Your gonna get out and finish exploring just like you were supposed to with Christina, Traveling the world away from the Government with nothing to look back to" Chris said trying to not cry.

" Please....Stop.....Worrying about me....... Go and leave the cave.....I Did my part for this group..... Don't let my death be for nothing" She said before coughing.

" No Ashleigh don't die now we're so close to making it home" Christina said holding Ashleigh's hand tighter than you could imagine.

"I'm sorry for not helping you guys before.....but don't let me stop you now......go and expose the Government for who they are....." Ashleigh said weakly.

" No Ashleigh you can't leave me..... Not now" Christina croaked out.

"Go....Before it's to late........." Ashleigh said before her hand slipped out of Christina's

None of us knew what to say in that moment, but we all knew what we had to do.

As we stood up everyone Looked back at Ashleigh before leaving her lifeless body on the floor as they all made their way back to the tunnel.

None of them really cared that they were going home.....

They all we to sad to realize it.......
